Genned a bunch of legit mons in PkHex, wondering if there's anyway to go online (I saw somewhere that you can disable the "you need to update" notification) or if I should just buy another switch for playing.

Assuming I have two switches, one clean one home brew, how do I trade to that pokemon version without being online? Finding that answer is becomming harder and harder when keywords are all that's used in a search bar.
By default Sword/Shield uses local wifi unless you connect to Internet in the Y-Comm menu, just press Y and do what you need to do.
You shouldn't go online on a hacked console especially not one which has pirated games installed. The only way to go online safely on a hacked console is by keeping all your CFW/homebrew stuff on emuNAND and keeping your sysNAND clean and using that for online with legit games.
I just traded locally and this is how I did it:
Go to Y-Comm (with wifi enabled but without connecting to internet ingame) press the top button and set the link code to the same on both consoles. Then when you initiate a trade on both consoles it should connect the two consoles together. When I didn't set the link code first it didn't seem to work.
Needless to say you should have 90DNS enabled or your NAND patched with Incognito, or all the wifi connections deleted, so that it can't connect to Nintendo servers.

Yeah it's not instant but your console has probably been flagged to get a ban next ban wave
Just an update: I've only been going online with my sysnand via Hekate and I still haven't been banned.. How long does it typically take? I've been doing online battles, raid battles and the game informs me when a pokemon I've made is illegitimate. i.e. a hidden ability like Libero.
Idk, no issues so far. Saves haven't been corrupted or anything either.

I wish at least *one* pokemon game was free of bullshit pkhex so you can at least wow at someone having legendary shinies and whatnot. Takes all the surprise and the fun out of the game when you can never know if someone was actually lucky/worked for it or just plopped a shitty perfect pokemon into the game
As much as this would be a good thing, let's not entice others to do the same. There might be some safe cases like yours, but no one knows if it would work differently for someone else. Someone might do the exact same thing as you and still get banned, we wouldn't know. Just my opinion really, no ill will or anything. Cheers mate.
Well, I walked my friend through it and he got banned almost instantly after going online.
It might be the way he originally setup his Switch, but idk.
Regardless, I'm still unbanned. Bear in mind though that the only thing I ever use is Checkpoint.
