Hello.
I got the idea of formatting my 3ds because its full of random crap from downloading random programs on the TitleDB via FBI and most of the stuff are still there after deleting them,so im just gonna resort to formatting the 3ds and the sd card.
Is there any way to backup the CFW and just reinstall it after formatting, without having to go through the same process of reinstalling the custom firmware?
Thanks in advance.
(I used seedminer exploit and i'm not sure if that method is outdated yet or not.)

CFW is not something thats going to be gotten rid of from a system format. once done. you would just complete the finalizing steps of the guide to get back the basic cfw apps.
