On switchcheatsdb I can't find a place to download the whole database? Why do they not allow downloading of the single unified database? IS there a place to get an entire copy of an recent cheat DB?
And when I navigate to a specific game, like Pokemon Sword, it lists a bunch of text files, each submitted by different people, each with different entries, some unique, some duplicates. Is there any way to merge these all into one file while removing duplicates?
I don't get why this is so messy, in the past for other consoles you could just download the latest cheat database and it had all the games with merged single cheat lists that had everything.

This is how things used to be. So much easier and cleaner, why was it abandoned? switchcheatsdb is just disappointing, they could offer a single download to the whole database, but do not. They could automatically have the site merge and clean up duplicate entries, instead they just let people maintain their own files and generate a huge mess. The site itself is poorly designed.

i have a prob. ams fatal errors on pokemon sword randomly. i formattted sd and did everything new..same ..fatalerror....if i try to reboot....cant initialize sd...ad after that it reboots
thing is it worked before...i used cheats where they came out...and suddently the game crashed randomly....it got worse ...now ams fatalcrashes if i play sword....i even formatted sd and did new...
I guess this isn't what you want, but you can try this: Take a backup of your save with Checkpoint, then delete the game AND its save data and everything associated with the game in the NAND (if possible for you, but save file and game should be enough). See if the game starts once you have reinstalled it, it might be a corrupt save.
Here a simple Encounter code (tested on sword)
Note: Get values by using http://armconverter.com/ and "MOV W1, x" to generate the value, x = National Dex ID
Note2: only the dex id is overwritten, not the formid, better only use it on non-form-changed encounters.
