You can but it's complicated. You have to manually edit your offline nand image backup and add the save in then restore it
as far as I know this works
1 only sword/shield have data pm , a lot of pm is deleted by gamefreak
2 in game face to face transfer

Don't like it? Don't use it. There's no way those pokemon could flood your game if you don't use them yourself. Let the others do whatever they want with their own game.
PKhex is the clean way it will automatically notify you that whatever pkmn you generate is legit or not. By location/shiny locked/pokeball/moves/or event-gift
The goal is to trade pkhex pkmn over to your clean switch via having your own 2 NS otherwise you'll have to add someone as a friend that can supply you kool pkmn. Importing save data from a pirated game to your sysnand is not a good idea since save files have unique ID's aswell
I understand that the process of importing the save data itself might have some ramifications (being forced into using homebrew on Sysnand to restore the save file), but surely the save file having a unique ID itself shouldn't be an issue as I'm assuming that unique ID would never have been used online when in emunand anyway?
The ID is a big deal if you go online in sysnand. Thats exactly what got me banned in Smash bros just by clicking the online option in the menu. B/c the copy I paid for did not match the unique ID of the save file that I got from someone else. This only matters if you ever decide to do online battles. The ID is generated by the game itself

Roger that, so I should search pkhex, only get Pokémon that are available in Pokémon Sword(my copy) , transfer to my official switch with in game face to face trade, profit. thanks
Moving my save data to my clean switch might be something I steer clear from until I read abit more on it. Seems iffy
So if I have a hacked switch, I can PKHex on it's pirated version of sword, and trade the pokemon over to my switch lite running a legit copy of shield? Can I trade pokemon to my switch lite with airplane mode on my hacked switch if I turn bluetooth on manually?
If anything Mew can actually be in the game legitimately b/c of the unregistered pokeball+ gift. So with pkhex you would have to gen it as a pokeball+ mew if theres an option for it.
Not really sure if other legends are ok in this game maybe just not datamined like Mew
