Feature requests:
  • Pushbulletsupport so we can find links on a browser on PC and send them to the switch to download and install.
  • mega support with option to input login for paid account would be great!
  • Remove the SX limitation, there's no need for that bullshit!
Good job OP!

Man another damn nsp installer brew. lol I'd call complete redundancy ...if it weren't so damn functionally sound by it's own merits and added some useful features to the table, to boot.

Between this and blawfoil, You have pretty much any means of nsp & title management functionality you'd need at this point. Almost makes ME want to duct tape them together, with a dab or two of goldleaf sprinkled on top and repo it as n1dus 2.0 -NoM0arMadBroz Edition-, then throw my feet up, give toast to proper unified functionality and watch the ensuing shitstorm.

If i were an asshole that is... in any case, good brew here all the same. Do keep the nsz support. I've adapted the format as my norm at this point, and it really is absurd that it isn't embraced more globally by the scene, simply because blawar spawned it into creation. I mean ffs, a good thing = a thing that is good. No one benefits in the wake of needless vanity..

Cheers. :grog:

the google drive feature in 1.1.0 is amazing and so useful! i never had luck with it in tinfoil, but it works like a charm without a qouta limit!

this might just be a good replacement for tinfoil for me, but ill have to keep goldleaf for pfp customization and archiving files lol

blawar did not come up with NSZ/XCZ, that was nicoboss. blawar was just the first one to implement it into a NSP installer.

It was more than an idea, nicoboss wrote compression and decompression code for it.

I didn't say it wasn't more than an idea, I'm saying he took the idea behind nsZip and streamlined it to create nsz. It's a new codebase, it wasn't a copy paste as you seem to be implying.

Wow another installer (yay).....plus anti-sx line of code (powerful! 1 of the total like 3 lines of code not copy/pasted, it is by far the most based)....plus an amazing awoo meme probably straight of /ptg/! hella fuckin awoovement.
I guess I can rate this 10/10, I chose 10/10 instead of 11/10 because I use Kosmosphere or whatever, but also like to keep my sx license handy so I can use the in-game cheat scanner since there are no other solutions; At least ones which work in the way the SXOS scanner works.
So yeah, keep up the good work.
Make an awoo cfw next
Maybe just take all of the current stuff and re-release it, but like, add anti-sx code!

Can I install NSZ dumps over network with that? For NSPs I'm using Fluffy + a very old tinfoil version without nice UI, but since NSZs don't work, I wonder if that tool allows me to do that. But what software do I use on my PC to transfer the NSZ over Network. Fluffy doesn't work right?

Awoo Installer 1.1.0

What's new?

- NCA verification
- Contents of files you attempt to install are now checked for authenticity
- If a file is detected as modified, Awoo Installer will alert you of the risks
- "Modified" contents might include cartridge image repacks, DLC unlockers, mods, and malware
- Make sure if you're installing modified files that you verify that their source is trustworthy!
- "Boost mode" during installations
- Increase install speeds by enabling Nintendo's "boost mode" when installing software
- Disabled by default
- Google Drive support by file ID
- Software can be installed directly from Google Drive by entering a public link's file ID into Awoo Installer
- This feature can be found by pressing Y on the Network Installation page, and selecting "Google Drive"
- More services may be implemented in the future
- Change the fat Awoos to whatever you want
- Images can be placed in /switch/Awoo-Installer
- "awoo_main.png" for the main menu, and "awoo_inst.png" for the install page
- Removed SX OS license.dat check
- Many other changes and bug fixes

What's next?

A lot of new and useful features are on the horizon for Awoo Installer! @HookedBehemoth is working on a lot of impressive new features, and of course I'll be messing around a little whenever I see fit. Stick around and keep an eye out for any info on what's coming up! Oh yeah, and please submit any issues or feature requests you might want to see in an upcoming release!

You can install NSZ files with ns-usbloader or Fluffy by just renaming the file from *.nsz to *.nsp. Awoo Installer doesn't care about file extensions!

Thank you for your work, it's nice to see another title installer that is only focused on installing titles.

Any chance that we see theme support for this, or should we just re-compile it with custom images?
Just slap that Switch in the dock at the next rooftop party and show your valor by being proud of those giant anime titties.

The only good point of the installer. Oh, and using Plutonium.
Blocking access to use the app if you’re using a particular cfw (especially as it works fine with said cfw) doesn’t seem very user friendly, it’s petty if anything. Not sure why you’re happy with this.

Yet many homebrew devs claim sxos fans/user being toxic. But most of the time to toxicity comes from those devs. Have yet to see a sxos app outright refusing to work on a non sx os cfw.
