Netflix's The Witcher TV show has already been renewed for a season 2

As each day passes, excited fans and dubious onlookers get one step closer to finally being able to watch the upcoming Netflix adaptation of The Witcher. With the show's first season kicking off at the tail-end of 2019, the controversies will either alight once more, or be allayed. But there won't just be one season of the show, as Netflix has announced that Geralt's adventures have only just begun, confirming a second season for the series, which hasn't even aired a single episode yet. Whether or not the streaming giant's Witcher series will be good enough to get fans to stick around for a second season will be known, when the full first season releases on December 20th.

I wonder how will they deal with the profanity and nudity in this.

Hope it does well. Finally, a show with a MAN. And hairy to boot, like men are.

the trailer makes me hope that this wont be completely woke SJW trash like alot of the more recent netfix stuff. (so far it looks only partially but the good may outweigh the bad)

that said i am worried that the showrunner pulled a bait and switch making Ciri and Yennefer the main characters and Geralt secondary is just a 1st season thing.
I dont think its a bad idea to do get more story from there perspective
i just dont want geralt/cavil playing a cameo or supporting role in his own named series,
if the show runner wanted that it should be a spinoff series.

eitherway i will withhold judgment... cautiously optimistic.

Oh I'm aware
just like I'm aware Yennefer is the wrong race, Tris is mixed race and doesn't appear to have the chestnut red hair from the books nor the significantly brighter red hair from the games, the Wood-elves look to be various mixed races.

I'm not surprised about any of that, Hollywood's casual racism knows no bounds.

I mean it's CURRENT YEAR, of course, they won't let a Polish story based on Eastern European/Polish folklore two only have European people, why that would be discriminatory.

That's only allowed in Hollywood when its the Wakanda's in black panther or Chinese for the up and coming Mulan etc.

I can get past their constant racism because i'm used to it so long as that's the only problem.

if the rest of it is good I can look past the propaganda it's only when the propaganda and virtue signaling outweighs the good that there is a problem.

Netflix is on a fucking rampage.
You reckon? From where I sit they have been swinging more than hitting lately, and their once hallmark shows have all seemingly tanked in later series/seasons, and the bizarre things they are doing as far as hamstringing people creatively, several departures of notable talent and whatever else don't paint the rosiest picture.

Unless you mean this is coming to the part of the rampage where the rampager lifts their head up high and blows their brains out.
