no rush your codes are good just items are a bit odd in Sword as theirs removed items and new ones never in games before
Basically what HeavensSword has been saying. Before you even attempt the guide, you first want to check if your Switch is moddable AT ALL by checking with a serial number checker, found HERE. Make sure to enter the ENTIRE serial number, and if it tells you that you can mod it, great, if not, then you are out of luck.

I erased all the lines ending in 00000000 when I used the code.
As for the Pokeblock berries (the glitched ones), I don't know which are the slots for them on the code though. I order my items by class as soon as they hit the bag. If you do so, they are at the bottom before 3 working berries.

Using the 00000000 code is because someone used the wrong code before
It can erase them
I don't know if it can erase them, but when I use these codes with the 00000000 I get an error in Edizon. All cheat codes show "And 0 others" instead of their name and I can't enable/disable them. It works fine again when I delete the 00000000 part though.

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better. -
