hello, im not really certain if this is in the right place so if its not im really sorry

im getting booted back into the homebrew channel whenever i try to load a game from my usb, the usb was previously working, so im sure the usb isnt the issue, the person that moded the console originally wasnt me, it was my brother, but after the trouble started i looked around and found that cios might be the issue, so i re-downloaded and installed both the newest cios and usb loader gx using tutorials i found on similar problems, the tutorials were wiiguide cios, and for usb loader gx i just downloaded from the oficial site, but the problem still persists

i found in other posts people asked about syscheck so i went ahead and did it in anticipation

hopefully i did this right, any help is greatly appreciated and sorry for any mistakes on my part on wether this kind of issue goes in here or not, im not really that well acquainted with forums

Hello

your cios are obsolete, follow this guide ==>https://wii.guide/cios

and put your cios like this ==>
Select cIOS: v10 beta52 d2x-v10-beta52
Select cIOS base: 57
Select cIOS slot: 249
Select cIOS version: 21010

Select cIOS: v10 beta52 d2x-v10-beta52
Select cIOS base: 56
Select cIOS slot: 250
Select cIOS version: 65535

Select cIOS: v10 beta52 d2x-v10-beta52
Select cIOS base: 58
Select cIOS slot: 251
Select cIOS version: 65535

then repost a new syscheck report, for control.

Restart usb loader gx and see the result ??

is usb loader gx (version 1272) up to date ??

set up Priiloader, to counter updates

hey, i did some stuff since then so i'll detail what i did here, sorry for the confusion

i used modmii since i saw on other threads it was recommended, followed the steps in detail and tried again, unfortunately my games still wont load, now instead of getting booted back i get a black screen and my controller disconnects without being able to reconnect

anyway, sorry i cant follow the steps you gave me and for the confusion, i was just getting a bit impatient, i'll send another syscheck from the wii as it is right now and wait for a response this time.

many thanks

Hello,

syscheck report ==> OK

what is your suport usb (usb key external hard drive) ??

external hard drive recommend in FAT 32.

The USB keys work poorly with the wii (often black screen or do not start).

To try :

If you have a usb key, put it in the wbfs format and see the result (little do not work) ??

hello, im using a usb flashdrive, especifically cruzer blade, its FAT 32 as well, if it is the flashdrive i would find it weird as not too long ago it worked with no issues, then suddenly one day it stopped working and thats when i started to try stuff out

anyway, i'll try to change it to wbfs format like you suggest and get back to you, if that doesnt work i assume i should get a hard drive instead?

edit: googled around a bit and it seems formatting to wbfs format is not recommended, so i'd prefer to stray away from it, no idea what i should try next
