I second the rename request please please

Maybe some small file could be dropped inside every nintendo3ds folder, containing the name to be displayed.

I have a question on how 3DSbank works. I just want to understand how this works. So, is this another home screen that can be switched constantly or just a continuation of the current home screen you have? If so, that would be great. If not, I would still like an explanation of what this actually does.

When starting 3DSBank, it renames the "Nintendo 3DS" folder, before showing a list of the 3DS folders, so that the list is complete.
Then, you can either select a different one, or exit the tool, so that the 3DS HOME Menu can create a new one.

Man, that's quite amazing! Thanks for the fast reply and for creating this. This'll help out so much!

it would be really nice if this could let us move titles around folders so if we start running out of space we could have a whole home menu just for GBA titles for example, also themed around GBA!

Thank you so much, this is beautiful! I only wish it had a confirmation before creating a new directory. It's really amazing as it is though.

"NOTE: This app does not get around the 40 DSiWare title limit."

Meaning exactly what? 40 folders limit?
40 folders x 300 titles = 12.000 titles?

40 DSiWare app/game limit. :P
If more than 40 are installed, then some of them will not appear.

but wait..than 3dsbank has no point..it just expants title limit from 300 to 340??
I don't think you get how it works.
When starting 3DSBank, it renames the "Nintendo 3DS" folder, before showing a list of the 3DS folders, so that the list is complete.
Then, you can either select a different one, or exit the tool, so that the 3DS HOME Menu can create a new one.
The 3DS titles are stored in the "Nintendo 3DS" folder, and when you select a different one in 3DSBank, you'll access the titles stored in that folder.
So, once you hit the 300 title limit, you can pick a different "Nintendo 3DS" folder to access other titles.

@Robz8 no seriously, how DOES it work exactly, i really wanna know?

Also can i have 300 titles in one slot and another 300 in another? ir whats the deal?

Also when i created another folder and entered it my theme is gone and all apps...just folders rmain (empty).

Also how can i install new homebrew in second, 3dsBank folder if i dont have FBI?

ALSO...what ARE all the things that 3DS counts as used slot (1 of 300) badges placed, badges installed (custom badges), folders, apps, hobedrew..what?

Thanks... but so many things are unclear. I would really like to know.

Okay so the 3ds homemenu has 300 slots for your installed games/badges and folders. The point of this tool is to "swap" the folder full of those games and stuff for another one with other games and badges. The reason why you dont have a theme when you swap is because themes are stored in the same folder with all the games. Folders stay along with Ds games becuase i think they are on the system itself and not the sd card. I hope this all makes sense I tried my best to explain
