More Info Regarding Switch (Mariko/Lite) Mods by Team-Xecuter

ub3r1337's first impressions from a direct demo of TX upcoming new hardware mods!

ub3r1337 recently meet with TX to have them demo to him their upcoming new mods for the Switch (patched, mariko and lite). Unfortunately, he didn't get any pictures, but he says they'll be coming later on. Even so, he shared some of this new information at MaxConsole, also shown below:
First Off: It is a hardware mod. TX went back to its roots, and this solution is a device you need to install inside your Switch. :)

From what we could tell the install looks ultra simple and almost plug and play. When pushed about the install requirements, TX held back from claiming its fully solder-less, stating clearly that this particular design will always benefit from a few simple solder connections, versus the original intent of fully solder-less (at least for the classic model which is the unit we got to inspect).

In other words, a fully solder-less install is potentially possible with the classic models however it is not recommended by TX due to long term reliability concerns (we will cover this more in-depth at a later date, once we have our preview unit in our hands and put it thru some tests)

Second Point: There is one device for Patched and Mariko unit which is probably under production (see point three) and should be available soon :) They plan to release 2 devices; one for all classic versions (original, patch and mariko) and one for the Switch Lite.

Third Point: I really pushed for a release date, but TX refused to confirm anything during our meeting. From what I understood, even though it seems to be currently under production, because all sorts of things can occur in the factory during production, they will not commit to a date to me or their resellers until they are certain they can deliver on time enough stock to meet the demand.

I guess I can only respect that, this is probably why they did not announce anything yet, and we should know more once it is finally officially announced on their TX website.

At some point ub3r1337 hopes to get some pictures and videos from TX and a review unit, but we have no clue when that will happen. For now we just have to sit and wait for some more news regarding these new TX hardware mods to appear online!

Why are you defending TX like it's your own mother? Leave him alone, he sees a news about TX that has found a flaw, he reads the news, he sees that there is no proof, he answers a comment he made, that's all, it's that simple. Isn't that the principle of freedom of speech? Why do you feel compelled to respond to a guy who wrote a comment that bothers you? Because his comment clearly bothers you, otherwise you wouldn't try to use bogus analogies to try to defend... defend what, by the way? You can't prove he's wrong, so you're here to try to prove he has bad intentions by commenting? Stop it a little bit and let people express themselves

OFC people should be concerned about this being fake or not, just imagine for a sec if no one doubted what was being said on the Internet, oh wait...

Oh and something that has no proof isnt necessarily false/untrue..

I literally made an entire post giving valid reasons to be concerned. Equally, there are sites providing pre-orders for this product despite the lack of evidence, thus it's worth giving people reasons to be concerned before spending their money on a product that lacks proof of its existence and only claims from someone with a sketchy history. If you choose to trust them and don't like my posts, that's fine but that doesn't mean I can't post from the other side of the playing field.

Yet those " valid reasons to be concerned " were things about another product ( 3ds ) and where aparently for what i read.. other people that arent part of tx anymore.. and again..at least till this moment everything they did or say about the switch was true.. so there are more reasons to believe them in this than not.. my opinion.

Well yeah man, your analogy with the Xbox is irrelevant since there's a difference between going to an Xbox forum when you're not interested and answering a news on the main page of a website.
Oh yes, you have the right to answer, but you answer next door as if to try to discredit it instead of answering on the merits, I find that very surprising.
So again, why defend TX with such strength? If people have valid reasons to be sceptical and you don't have enough to show them that they don't have to be, don't bother answering. But if you do, then there's nothing to stop me from telling you too...

He has actually made multiple false claims throughout the Switch scene but it's become rather apparent that this is going nowhere fast. It's rather apparent that you just want to drown out my comments with personal incongruousness.

Hey this is pretty cool! thought it's rather shady/sad that they didn't release any photo proof, but since I'm not giving any money, whats wrong with the benefit of a doubt?

I really hope it's not locked to TX-os ( or Atmosphere-re-skin :P ), I'd rather Rei-switch tbh. and Hardware mod makes me kind of sad, cause not the most user-friendly, but I plan to Hardware mod my Switch lite with anything that comes out anyways : )

I just want to know why the creators of cfw and homebrew have never been involved in every debate like this and I just realized this debate is only for unskilled people who pretend to be great in the field of hacking who apparently don't know anything

There is no debate. There's no point in all this. People don't debate whether their CFW is better or not, they have other things to do than to have sterile discussions. What I see on this feed are TX fans who feel the need to defend themselves against fans of other CFW solutions. You just have to realize that this is a totally stupid way to do things, and if you don't have anything relevant to answer when someone expresses their concerns or scepticism, then you're not useful.
We all hope it's real, at least I do. I hope there is indeed a solution for the new consoles and the Switch Lite, TX fans will have to stop believing that they are leading a kind of crusade.
Anyway, since the topic doesn't lead to anything, I'll stop answering. I was interested in the points raised by some people, I was just shocked by the reaction some people have when it comes to TX
