If you want to be pedantic then saying it's patched is vague, because you aren't saying what is patched and how.
Saying it's ipatched is more specific, but all switches have ipatches. Switches after June 2018 have ipatches that prevent fusee gelee from working.
I was questioning that you were "thrown", as far as I can see you were the first person who used the word ipatched in this thread.
What do you mean it "worked" and "couldn't do anything else?".
Injecting uses a bug in RCM, all the methods to inject will look like they are working up until the point where the payload is executed. If your switch has the ipatch that fixes fusee gelee then it will stop at that point.
