Homebrew I tried to do a freeShop for Nintendo DSi but i can't install devkitPro or ARM, why?

What you've done is a private backup access tool, not a clone of the FreeShop.

FreeShop itself was legal, because it was using official title keys then making requests with them directly on the Nintendo CDN.

Perhaps it should be clarified that the 'free' in 'freeShop' stood for 'freedom', and not for 'free games woohoo'.

That being said, there is not a living soul who used freeShop exclusively for titles they owned, and anyone who claims anything to the contrary is a liar.

More ontopic, given that the DSi can still connect to modern WiFi networks, it would be nice to have a shop-like application to download games straight to the device, just cause.

It would be nice if you could publish the application under a free license, and just leave the server it's supposed to connect to up to the user (preferably with a bit of info on the server's expected file structure). Nice work either way.

I have just one question :
( Everybody used twilight Menu++ had this issue ) Does it work for higher than 2gb sdcard ? ( Because the HiyaCfw menu doesn't work on this ) ?
And I advise you to create one new topic , because the title here doesn't mean really that theres one free shop on dsi

You left the IP address for your server in the picture
If you have pirated games there you should probably remove it

Posting the application here would be against the forum rules unless you omit the information used to connect to the server hosting the titles. In other words, I wouldn't recommend it.

It seems like a nice project, but as others have said having your server full of roms it's gonna get Nintendo to shut you down pretty fast... on the other hand, if they notice an increased traffic to the CDN they are probably shut it down too if it isn't connected to the 3ds eshop...
IMHO the best thing for you to do is to just release the app with configurable server settings.
