Excellent homebrew! My current goal is keeping sysMMC clean and up to date, and using emuMMC for CFW. I want to keep it always offline. I could use ftp with 90DNS, but don't want to risk anything going wonky. Plus speeds seem to be faster using this over using FTP anyway. Also makes it so I don't have to reboot to hekate and take the SD card to do file transfers.

I appreciate that there's now mtp-server nx BUT is this app likely to be updated to work on 9.0 ? Or is it already ?

Sincerely, someone afraid to update to 9.0
Maybe you can convince op to rebuild with latest libnx, but the existing version works same as ever on 9.0 in terms of providing an mtp connection. You won't be able to "Press X to exit" (once atmosphere removes its temporary fix), but you can still exit via the home button etc - wouldn't hurt to close the mtp connection on your computer's end first to be extra safe.
