I noticed in the op that he said to place it in sxos/tittle or atmosphere/tittle, it needs to be titles, not tittle

Place the sxos folder on the root of your sd card then titles in that. MAKE SURE it's the Japanese version as the 2 different versions look similar. I got it working on mine no problem after I realized I had the Chinese version not the Japanese version and changed it to the Japanese version it worked great
I have the two versions Story of Seasons Friends of Mineral Town [JPN][01001D900D9AC000] (TurboSnail) even the update the sxos folder on the microsd but no luck the menu starts in japanese no matter what

Yeap i tried many times already , but it nevers starts in english , could it be because im on emunand ?
you may have the japanese version of the update but be very careful and make sure that the rom you downloaded was the japanese version and not the korean/chinese version as they look very similar and then put the folders like this root/sxos/titles root being the part that pops up as soon as you stick in your micro sd card to the computer
Nope , im using windows 10 . I have both version of the game becuase when i install them there are two icons of the game , also when i enter the cheat folder i can see the title and build id .
I always use filezilla to transfer cheat folders , and have use cheats many times even used checkpint to replace saves . im not using any other mods , is the first time that i copy a folder to try a diffrent language .
Can anybody share a save file in english , so i can replace a save and see if the game starts in english , just to check it doesnt matter how advance you in the game . Also i have the version of turbosnails in both formats xci and nsp , ASIA and JPN .

did you click on the sos-fomt folder to get to the title id folder the title id folder is what you have to extract to the sxos/titles not sos-fomt/*titleid*
Yeap thats correct inside sxos is the folder titles and inside titles is the folder with the title id
are you using the xci or the nsp from what i have read that the xci is the chinese/korean version and the nsp is the japanese version. try making sure that the sxos folder is also on the root of your sd card
it seems the translation problem only shows up on sxos, consider switching to atmosphere if you want to play it now, or just wait until the official english release

yeap it seems its only on Sxos , i would still like to try somebody else save in english to try , but if nobody can post it ill wait , thanks to you all for the info
