Hi,

I've been trying to do a nand backup using hekate but it keeps freezing at 6%. Everthing works fine on the switch just doesnt let me do a backup. Any ideas what could be the cause?

Thanks

dleted a game now it got stuck at 99%
Do NOT trust this sd card! This sounds very much like a counterfeit card! Please test using H2testw!

The LAST thing that you want is to have a situation where you go to restore your NAND backup, only to find that your backup is bad!

These cards are usually labeled with a higher capacity than they actually are. That's why you were able to get further after deleting a game. H2testw will verify that the entire SD card is usable.

I remember reading about someone buying a fake memory stick from an official sony store. I don't know how something like that can happen, but yeah, always test the card before using it.

Hey, sorry for stealing this post to make a question.

I also bought a SD card which was fake, I sent it back and got refunded. I was able to make my backup successfully using that SD card, however, I'm worried that the backup is corrupted.

If the backup is indeed corrupted and I restore it, will I risk my Switch getting bricked? Will a backup in my Switch's current state help me restore it in case it gets bricked by the corrupted backup?

Better make a new Nand Backup. You can check of your backup os corrupted using a program you can finf on the chojurodix page.
