OK... What steps did you do?Hello mattytrog,
I've tried Unbrick_Your_Switch and the firt time I've done it, by launching fusee-primary.bin, I got the message : ERROR : Fatal Error: (NXBOOT) Key derivation failed !
Now I can't start switchboot.bin ( Atlas NX logo is displayed, Nintendo logo is displayed and ... black screen). Try to repeat the complet procedure but still the same result (cannot start switchboot.bin anymore).
Do you have any id about what is going wrong ? (All steps were successful the first time excepted the non successful start of fusee-primary.bin)
Sounds like a theme problem to me.Hello mattytrog,
I follow your tuto \Brief_Instructions.txt (not \Unbrick_Your_Switch_iha2\Brief_Instructions.txt) with success until the step "Launch fusee-primary.bin". After starting Launch fusee-primary.bin, I've gotten the message : ERROR : Fatal Error: (NXBOOT) Key derivation failed !
I have valids Rawnands from the time when the switch was in 6.01 and 6.1 (not used for this procedure). I've also all the keys, included the BIS one.
In order to do the step 5 (Restore using BIS keys), I've used MemLoader V3 ( I had to put some files in on the SD card) to establish the connection with HacDiskMount. No problem with the "check entropy". No problem at all.
I guess that the Boot0 is now "not valid" and that's why Switchboot.bin can't boot anymore.
Do you have a theme installed?I'm sorry but it isn't clear for me what I've to do ?
Can you please tell me what you mean by "Remove theme in 5.1.0, then update"
Thx for helping me
Ive sorted it mate. That a nice thread I will pin somewhere in case !
And some nice information about prodinfo it remind me something
Btw if you need dump of boots from lastest version to cross check feel free to ask ^^
Was my dumps fine then?Ive sorted it mate.
Updated by test board to v9.0.1 and pulled / scrubbed the boot0 from it.
Thank-you!
It was off by 16 bytes. Was my dumps fine then?
I used Hekate 5.0.2... hmmm so strangeIt was off by 16 bytes.
Compared to mine that I have just dumped.
If it hasn`t been altered by yourself, I`d double-check your dumping software. If you would have restored the boot0 you gave me, your keyblobs would be fooked.
But it gave me a valuable insight. Thank-you sir!
Probably just a glitch. I`ll redownload your dump just to double check.I used Hekate 5.0.2... hmmm so strange
Double check with the 9.0.0 if that also is 16 bytes different.Probably just a glitch. I`ll redownload your dump just to double check.
