Hacking Question Ipatched switch on 5.1.0 and 6.2.0 hackable ETA?

Hi guys,
Sorry to be a bother but just got 2 switches from a warehouse sale brand new on 5.1.0 and 6.2.0 but both are patched switches with no supernag. Any chance we might get deja vu this year? As I was told by my friend that hexkyz has deja vu running on 5.x not sure about of 6.2.0 though.

5.1.0 and 6.2.0 will likely receive a warmboot exploit sometime in the distant future, but you can't update them, and you can't ever connect them to the internet. I'd recommend getting an unpatched Switch instead of waiting.

Edit: To be clear, you can use an online and up-to-date emuNAND once an exploit for 5.1.0-6.2.0 is released.

Thanks for the replies I do have a unpatched switch but because I got these 2 patched I was enquiring. Will wait for warmboot

you can't return those units and get different ones that are hopefully unpatched?

You see I sail on ships and there is a online store called sunny europe which sell electronics quite cheap to ships which arrive at port. So yeah can't return them once seal is broken.
