@Gericom I just wanted to express my gratitude for your hard work. Your project has come such a long way and it is breathing new life into our handhelds. Thanks again. I hope you keep up the great work. I also hope you add the option for us to put our games “to sleep” by closing the screen!!!
Thanks!

That's right, I keep forgetting about that actually. I think I may implement it together with the ingame menu when that becomes a thing. Because both need to pause the game.

Gericom, it makes more sense if I compare the master and rom3M branch after the rom3 branch got updated again.
It´s not really a fair comparison, the master branch is way ahead in terms of commits.

Right, I'll see if I can update the branch to the latest master tomorrow. (looking forward to some merge conflicts)

Edit: Btw, I hope the changes made in d6234c83 will lead to very slight performance improvements.

Thank you Gericom for your wonderful work. I do seem to be having an issue though. I loaded a rom and it crashed. I restarted the system and yet now every rom I try boots up the game that crashed. I have tried various things including deleting the offending rom but the issue persists. It's like it's in the cache or memory or something. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Sorry, I should have mentioned this is on a DSi XL with the latest TWiLight Menu++ and GBARunner2_arm7dldi_dsi.
For anyone who was having this issue, I finally worked out that it only happens with SRAM patched games. Is there a way to clear that? Also, do games really need to be patched and lastly is fullscreen possible? Thanks!

Pokemon Fire Red/Leaf Grean, Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire need to be sram patched.
Boktai - The Sun is in your Hand [E] requires the Solar Sensor patch.
Sonic Advance [J] (Rev 1) and Sonic Advance 2 need a special patch to get past the hardware link test.

The last times I've tried LeafGreen on 3ds twilightmenu I have not Sram patched it and I've been able to save and everything. Are you sure you still need to?

Don't use sram patches unless there are problems, because I am using my own gbarunner2 patches to work around something that causes issues with cache. Most games should work.
And fullscreen is currently not possible.

I'm pretty sure they work without patch now.

I was playing Super Ghost n' Ghouls and i started to get some strange behavior in the gameplay.

1-Depending on the event, the game randomly kicks you back to the main menu or simply softlocks

2-In half of the 1st Stage, if the wave yeet you out of the screen, the game will be totally unplayable

What about other games, should they work? Also do I set SD Slot-1 to Arm7 or Arm9? Im going through dsi camera -> homebrew loader -> twilightmenu++ -> gbarunner2
That option does nothing since you are running from dsi sd.
Check the compatibility list. Shining Soul 2 is just an exception.

The last time I checked was with commit 916020e (2019/07/07). Maybe you no longer have to patch in the latest build.

Any other good ARPGs like Shining Soul for GBA?
There's
Boktai - Requires patch applied and I'm not sure if Boktai 2 and 3 work.
Castlevania Aria of Sorrow
Castlevania Circle of the Moon
Castlevania Harmony of Dissonance
Kingdom Hearts (not sure if I would recommend this)
Summon Night
Tales of Phantasia

All are reported as working on the wiki.

It may work on dsi or 3ds

Tried it, it boots but there's no sound, and once you get in game it crashes the moment either you or an enemy land an attack. Changing the cache settings didn't seem to help.

This game has visible vertical tearing on real hardware so, its probably doing some questionable stuff.
