Hi guys,
I'd like just to report that I followed the Atmosphere 9.4 method and it properly worked for me.
I was in the same condition, that means black screen after updating with Choidujour and without any nand backup.

I'm still on 8.1.0 using SX OS 2.8 and I've been using SX installer 1.4 for a while and decided to try 2.0. I barely see it initializing before I crash to error 2168-0002. Everything else works just fine.
I dont have my Switch in front of me, but i fixed this by going into the sx folder you installed with the installer and deleting the cache folder. Dont just empty the folder, delete the folder. After that when you start it you will get a tinfoil error but you can just click ok and go into the installer like normal.

Sir please provide more information, what version of SX OS with SWITCH Firmware you were last time using when it was working correctly.
What exactly you done, when it stopped working, how you updated your switch, using official firmware or using ChoidujourNX methoud, if ChoidujourNX what version you were using v1.0.2 or v1.0.1. After update have you put boot.dat from last SX OS firmware to your SD Card and so on
After that someone will try to help you, but with that lack of information that you provided, its impossible.

6) I don't see why people feel the need to use incognito with SX but I won't knock it because I understand the mindset.
8) I think that's solved with the changes to cheats and XCI loading. Test it if you have the time, you know me I'd love to hear about it.
10) What homebrew are you using? That wasn't observed at all and I'm not seeing it now either. TIA
I was on fw 6.1.0 and updated to 9.0.0 with the 2.9b and choidujour 1.0.1 and now I cant do nothing with my switch. Can’t boot into ofw. I always get a blackscreen and can’t boot into cfw because I get a blackscreen too. Tried to install atmosphere 0.9.4 and get a blackscreen too after starting atmosphere. I have no backup. I don’t care for my files and savegames. I just want my switch to work Again. Is there a workaround how I can complete the firmware update or how I can downgrade without doing the complicated hekete thing ?

Are you before this all happened were using SX OS or Atmosphere?
Anyway try to do this :
- Turn the console off.
- Remove SD Card.
- Hold down the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons, along with the Power button, to start up the console in Maintenance Mode.
- Select Initialize Console, and follow the on-screen instructions.

You will burn your game cart fuse if you load sx os with 9.0.1, you will no longer be able to play game carts on firmware lower than 9.0.0. If that doesn't matter to you then you should be good. There are still a few reported bugs that I haven't personally verified whether or not they are fixed in 2.9.2 such as incognito and SSD/HDD issues. Also, make sure you do not have lock screen theme installed, will not work.

Anyone else getting SXOS Error "2168-0002"? I get to the Nintendo and then Switch splash screens and the error pops up. I was running on 8.1 and the compatible SXOS version at the time. I upgraded to 9.0.1 and used the new SXOS Beta and it won't boot past that.
But they're not. They offer things atmos doesnt you're literally lying and misusing that word from bias. Until atmos offers EVERY. SINGLE. THING. That tx does, its, by definition, NOT obsolete. Stop being an immature idiot fanboy. I swear atmoshills are so fucking obnoxious. You like atmosphere? Fine. Use it. But stop being a douche to people who CHOOSE to use sx. Let people have opinions instead of being an immature child.
