Hi

Just bought off eBay a Switch with 8.0 firmware and 0.8.8 atmosphere preloaded. The seller has confirmed that it has not been banned and he uses ofw to play online.

I would like to reduce likelihood of getting banned as much as possible so would like to convert the cfw to emuNAND and have a clean sysNAND for online play (I believe atmosphere emuNAND supported from 0.9?). He doesn't have a sysNAND backup.

What should I do to clean sysNAND and transfer atmosphere to emuNAND?

Please can anyone help? I have the switch now but don't want to turn it on in case sysnand becomes dirty.

What can I do to help not get this switch banned?

I'm getting more and more confused the more I read.

At the moment I am thinking:
1) boot into RCM (not sure if autoRCM is enabled) so use paperclip jig
2) inject Hekate and dump boot 0/1 and sysnand
3) disable autoRCM if enabled, remove SD card and boot into OFW
4) factory reset while offline (or should I clean logs too?). The seller says he can go online in ofw
4b) if I clean logs, create sysnand dump?
5) follow guide for creating eMMC for atmosphere 0.9.4

Don't use cfw/exploits or some hacks and you are safe against a ban. The community knows the risk using this. Use it and live with a ban if you get one or let it be.

It already has cfw on it, so I'm trying to preserve it not being banned is all.
