Gamecard functionality will be broken on your 8.1.0 sysnand, but will work fine on your 9.0.0/1 emummc
If you block your gamecard slot from being updated, then it will work on the 8.1.0 sysNAND but not the 9.x emuNAND. If you allow your gamecard slot to be updated, it will work on your 9.x emuNAND but not the 8.1.0 sysNAND.

How does one update the gamecart slot and how do i disable the update for the slot?
By default, updates to the slot are blocked if you have a low fuse count. You have to manually allow the update in the config.
Hi. I dont know where to ask this, but I've been using retroarch on a switch with atmosphere 0.9.4 on emuMMC, and I've been getting this error:
I've done everything so far. I started with a emuMMC on 9.0.1, downgraded to 8.1.0. I even formatted my sd card from exfat to fat 32. And I still get this error.

Retroarch folder? And no, I haven't use a custom theme. I got the switch yesterday, unlocked. I erased the sd card, deleted everything, started from scratch and still.
The only thing I got left to do is to use another sd card (this one is a Kingston 128 gb with all the requierements, but I have a Sandisk)

Im trying another sd card now, Sandisk brand, FAT32 formatted. Im gonna see how that goes.
Loading a rom, and pausing, it freezes. I tried installing retroarch through hb menu and it gave me the same error.
Could it be im using a R4 dongle and hekate?

Ahh...you tried to load a rom. That makes sense. Don't start the hbmenu in applet mode. Try it with nsp injection.
Not. A gba rom and a psx rom.
Im going to try that, any direction you could point me to try nsp injection?
