NEW UPDATE FIXES UPGRADE ISSUES!

**********************************************

Good day, fans and believers! We hope you are all having a good weekend.

SXOS29.png

Team-Xecuter has done it again, they have updated their world-famous SX OS to now support the latest v9.0 Switch firmware from Nintendo.
Today, we bring you a much needed update of SX OS. Full compatibility with the latest Switch firmware 9.0! Sorry that we kept you waiting, we wanted to make sure all our unique features still properly work.

Additionally, we also introduced support for the "Horizon split format". This means that people who use FAT32 can have folders named 'game.xci' with split parts contained therein (named 00, 01, 02, etc.). Make sure the folder has the 'archive' bit set.

We know you are waiting for some other big features in SX OS, they are coming.. We wanted to get this compatibility update out first though.

So what are you waiting for? SX OS 2.9 beta is available for download on our website now! (and also through the builtin online updater part of SX OS.)

Yeah you should be able to. Be sure to make an emunand and backup nand tough to avoid any issues in the future with updates. (if your emunand gets updated you can just create a new one using your sysnand)

None! My cart reader was spooky though so if you are booting into emunand 8.1 with 9.0 sys; take out any carts in the system.

Yeah no carts here. All digital. Also main reason to update my SYS.

Correct way:
Sx 2.8
Choi 1.0.2
Update to 9.0.0
Shut down
Put 2.9 beta on sd card
Boot successfully with no problem.

follow this and you will be fine

Worked for me. Man my heart was racing when Choidujournx got stuck. I swear i'll never ever do anything without making NAND/EmuNAND backups first...

Sorry Guys - I just wanted to confirm (before I do it)

sxos 2.8 beta on my sd card
Choi 1.0.2 on my sd card
Update to 9.0.0
Shutdown my switch
remove sxos 2.8 from my sd card and put sx 2.9 beta on my card

Is this correct?

Just a heads up> Not sure if anyone is aware of this but when you boot back in to 9.0 firmware before you do this delete your themes from sxos/titles.. from your sd card this is usually a standard procedure but this time around boot back up, go into nxtheme installer and when you’re selecting your theme list don’t select the lock screen it needs extra exfes patches else your nsw will error all the others work ok.

Edit: many are saying the xci loading doesn’t work but it works fine they must be doing something wrong!

Original XCI dumps work. What is not currently working are XCIs made from NSP files.

Oh cool, they finally got around to integrating Atmosphere 9.0.0 fixes into their stolen code.

I tried to upgrade my FW with emunan. Got stuck on flashing.. so I deleted my emunan. Checked if I was still able to boot on sysnand. (I was) Tried again with new created emu band.still failed. So last time I went back to sx 2.8 and this time all good..

But if you do a fw update on emunand, there should be no danger to sysnand. Am I correct? Couse I just deleted the emunan, made a new and tried over. And it seems ok to me...

@Reecey Thanks everything is working in my case now (edited my message page 8).
I forgot that you needed to delete the themes files in titles.

You're 100% I was in the same boat; but you can fix up your switch in a matter of minutes. There's a post about 4 pages back that explains how to do it. (Be sure to backup nand after you're done)

I did what was suggested (fix a few pages back) ... Choix Du Jour downgrade to 8.1 STUCK AT EXACTLY THE SAME BIT ... Now my OFW doesnt boot up either!!
