here it is wf5 5.3 beta 8 with Leseratte's 480p pixel patch.
https://www.mediafire.com/file/g1mlr8owau8hprb/wf5_480p_pixel_patch.zip/file
ext_booter.bin goes in the bins folder of course.

there is a global default setting in main settings pg 13
and each game has a setting on page 5 that can be default, off, or on.

i tried it on a couple of games. can't tell much but they did seem a bit crisper. please test and let me know if its working properly.

oh but i did not modify my libogc so wiiflow 5 is not compiled with the fix.
@ayy_lmao try this https://gbatemp.net/threads/wiiflow-lite.422685/page-90#post-8789852

To each category corresponds an ascii character in categories_lite.ini file. It starts at code 33, the exclamation mark and ends at code 52, the number 4.

I see that when adding games to a category on the Wii's UI, the game is added to categories_lite.ini with its name as it appears in custom_titles.ini instead of its filename. Would manually adding the latter instead still work for that game?

No. Sorry. The code uses custom title, then title from gametdb xml, and finally filename if neither of those are available.

Fyi you can select a game in wiiflow. Go to categories menu and set categories. Then use + or - to go to the next or previous game without constantly having to back out n select game n click category icon every time.

Please, someone help me! I need to know how I name the title of FBA Arcade games! I followed the tutorial of this link ( https://sites.google.com/site/wiiflowiki4/changing-arcade-roms-titles ) but nothing worked! Wiiflow just returns to the channel and can't find rom.zip! I saw Fledge68 saying that this link is old, it means that the tutorial on this page no longer works, is outdated ??? If so, what would the new method of doing this be without hours trying to find out ???

Another thing. Yesterday I was trying to create an ini cost for a new Snes plugin! In Source_Menu I set emuflow = 2, however the Snes Covers are always shown Vertical in the Wiiflow main menu! I tried to add the magic number to the platafom.ini file, but as usual nothing happened! So far only two Snes Plugins show Covers Horizontal! These that display the covers correctly belong to two magic numbers that came with platafom.ini! In the old Wiiflow just set emuflow = 2 that they were horizontal, but now it seems that things have changed! So what do I have to do for the Covers to be Horizontal ??? If I try to adjust Cover by the Wiiflow Lite settings to be horizontal it will change the position of other plugins! I'm very confused!!!

Download the attached file in this post by @Wiimpathy, uncompress and place custom_titles.ini in your SD Card/HDD, inside /wiiflow/settings/.

Note that the magic number specified in your /wiiflow/plugins/xxxxx.ini (i.e., the ini for the FBA you are using as a plugin to have WiiFlow run that rom), needs to match that of the section in custom_titles.ini under which the rom you want to play is listed.

OK, thanks for the reply! But how do I use this custom_title.ini for CPS1, CPS2, Neo Geo plugins ??? Each of them has a different magic number! Do I have to add everyone's magic number next to the Arcade magic number?

That file already has those. It has several sections, each with those plugin’s magic numbers. Just put it in /wiiflow/settings

I will do more testing a little bit later.

I have noticed one little "Issue",my "custom" Covers from the USBLoader GX were displayed a little "garbled".I post some Pictures of it later.
Covers Downloads by the Way is REALLY fast.:)

A really great Loader,congratulations @fledge68
I'm really sorry that I did not try it earlier.

Thank you.:)

let's see if i can do a little magic #'s 101 for wiiflow 5.

for custom titles and flows to work in wiiflow 5 (lite) you need:

1. for custom titles you will need custom_titles.ini placed in wiiflow/settings folder.
2. platform.ini placed in wiiflow/plugins_data folder
3. a plugin ini in wiiflow/plugins folder
4. and for flows you will need default.ini (coverflows) placed in wiiflow/themes_lite/coverflows folder or if you are using a theme you will need the ini named the same as the theme placed in wiiflow/themes_lite/coverflows.

Custom Titles:

open the plugin ini in a text editor (preferably notepad++) and get the magic number. lets say its 43505331.
open custom_titles.ini in the text editor .
add the magic number enclosed in [] like this [43505331]
now under that add the filename of the game without the extension.
follow it with =
then put the title you want it to be.

here's a example.
[43505331]
1941=1941 - Counter Attack (World)
1941j=1941 - Counter Attack (Japan)
3wonders=Three Wonders (wonder 3 910520 etc)
3wonderu=Three Wonders (wonder 3 910520 USA)
area88=Area 88 (Japan)
captcomj=Captain Commando (911202 Japan)
captcomm=Captain Commando (911014 other country)
captcomu=Captain Commando (910928 USA)

Flows:

here's how the code gets flows.
1. gets the magic number from the plugin ini
2. converts magic number to platform name by looking in platform.ini under [PLUGINS]
3. gets flow name by looking in platform.ini to find the platform name under [FLOWS]
4. looks in default.ini (coverflow) to find the flow name enclosed in []. uses the flow number from wiiflow_lite.ini to set the appropriate flow layout.

example.
platform.ini:

[PLUGINS]
534e4553=SUPERNES

[FLOWS]
SUPERNES=snescart_box

default.ini:

[SNESCART_BOX]
number_of_modes=6

[SNESCART_BOX_1]
blur_factor=1.200000048
blur_radius=2
blur_resolution=0
bottom_angle=0, 0, 0
bottom_delta_angle=0, 0, 0
bottom_delta_scale=1, 1, 1
bottom_spacer=0, -2, 0
camera_aim=0, 0, -15
camera_aim_4_3=0, 0, -15
camera_osc_amp=0, 7.450580597e-09, 0
camera_osc_amp_4_3=0, 7.450580597e-09, 0
camera_osc_speed=7.823109627e-07, -3.725290298e-08, 6.705522537e-08
camera_osc_speed_4_3=7.823109627e-07, -3.725290298e-08, 6.705522537e-08
camera_pos=0, 1.150000334, 5.850003242
camera_pos_4_3=0, 1.150000334, 5.850003242
center_angle=0, 0, 90
center_pos=0.1000000089, -0.0500000082, 2.399998665
center_pos_4_3=0, -0.0500000082, 2.399998665
center_scale=1, 1, 1.599999428

Hope this helps.

That file already has those. It has several sections, each with those plugin’s magic numbers. Just put it in /wiiflow/settings

OK, it was my lack of attention (^ __ ^) ", after I realized it! I thought the whole huge list was just for Arcade!

Now if you can help me - Could you tell me if there is a way to make the covers of a new Snes plugin horizontal without changing the others! The covers are only horizontal with two magic numbers provided in the plataform.ini file! No use putting emuflow = 2 in the source_menu file why nothing happens! I even tried to add the number in the plataform.ini file, but it was no use!

One more thing, how do I put custom banner files for just one plugin or for several games of that plugin? The banner of a wad would be 00000000.app? Do I have to rename it or something and put it in a folder?

Thanks in advance for your attention!

@Xemma and everyone else.

i just realized your problem with flows. the wf5 v5.2.0 download contains an outdated platform.ini and default.ini for coverflow.
download the updated ones here - https://www.mediafire.com/file/28l9yjpckl0yo6n/wf5_platform_and_coverflow_ini.zip/file
note: these are my personal ones i'm currently using. but they are not finished or complete. some things may be missing. but at least they are a start and updated from what you get in v5.2.0 download.

tetsuo's platform.ini and defualt coverflow ini may be better.

also the carbonik abz theme coverflow is not updated either. so it won't work correctly for flows either. unless you use the default.ini coverflow.

Hello.:)

After "using" WiiFlow a lot today,the Cover Issue is fixed now,that was my fault.
The Covers had the wrong size/category,I used all existing Covers from USBLoader.:(
After re-downloading them all is ok.:D

All Games that I have tested works,except my "old" friend SPONGEBOB BOATING BASHING (PAL and NTSC) again.:P.
https://gbatemp.net/threads/spongebobs-boating-bash-ntsc-on-wiiflow.381920/#post-8696255

I used the same Settings like in USBLoader GX.:(

I have tried also the Settings from @RunningSnakes ,he already confirmed the Game is working with WiiFlow.

If someone has an Idea,please feel free,I am grateful for any Advice or Suggestion.

Thank you.:)

what cIOS do you have installed? for me it was d2x cIOS with a base of 53 or 58. and v8 might be better than v10.

I do not understand why it works in the USBLoader GX/Configurable USBLoader.:(
ALL Games on the HDD works with WiiFlow without any settings to change.I do not think it has to do with the cIOSes.
Maybe if I still use my NTFS formatted HDD ? :(

This §$&§$? Spongebob Game......arrrr....:evil:

I will try it with the d2x Installer and see if it hopefully helps.
Thank you.:)
