we can rag on TX all we want but the facts are they were the first ones to get me playing xci and stored xcis off my hdd and so far have
done everything they set out for(even if it meant doing stuff that may not jive with people).

also when it comes to xci loading, it has already been explained why atmos is not supporting it.
It's because of the legal issues, taking code which is not theirs.

You missed the point. I don't have a side, nor do I have a party that I wish to "win." I'm actually an SX user mainly. I would love if TX could properly update their shit without relying on someone else but they can't.

atmos users can rag all they want about sx os. but in the end sx os is plug and play and doesn't require multiple programs and/or patches to get a damn game to work. it's all about which is more easy and convenient and SX OS wins hands down. your paying for the convenience of SX OS and it's worth it.
In the early days of a scene I would agree, but in the age of step-by-step guides and ready-built packs I find it hard to justify spending so much as a cent on further ease of use. If you genuinely need SX OS to hack your Switch, then, no offense, but you probably shouldn't be hacking your Switch to begin with.
No need to be a twat. It's very inexpensive. Not to mention, it can run XCIs, and run cheats, directly from the in-game menu. These are nice features to have, which atmosphere doesn't offer. Stop trying to talk down, as if there's literally no reason to use SX over atmosphere, when there very clearly are pros to SX, that atmos doesn't have. Each have their pros and cons. But atmosphere is NOT "superior". Stop with the elitist childish mentality.
Their original idea used to temporary suspend those who would start a war in these threads, but now they just let things die down on their own or aid atmo b/c yu know nobody likes stolen code. At this rate why not just blacklist sxos threads b/c we will never get peaceful comments, then we can just migrate to the sxos forum instead for direct updates and helpful posts with 0 shitposting involved. Yeah it just boggles down on how often we get sxos update threads the hate will return once they support 9.0. Tho this isn't the 1st time TX has taken this long to dish out an update. That's a strawman if I've ever seen one. I didn't say atmosphere is superior. I didn't say that there are are no reasons to use SX OS.* What I did say was that if the only way you could manage to hack your switch is with SX OS, then perhaps you shouldn't be hacking your Switch. I say this out of experience of a sorts; I once bricked my 3DS because I got in over my head in the days before the big guide. Fortunately, that was only a $40 mistake, but if I hadn't made a back up in advance it would have been significantly more. I admit that I phrased it in an elitist way and shouldn't have done so in retrospect, but I do still stand by my point.
*I actually considered adding a bit at the bottom of my post noting the exclusive features that SX OS has that I think would be worth paying for, but I erroneously concluded that such a thing would be unnecessary.

Adding an asterisk because you don't wish to explain yourself doesn't mean dick. If you ever bricked a 3ds, it sounds as if you shouldn't be giving out said "advice" and that someone with less experience may want to go a simpler route. For some unknown reason, listing SXOS has XCI and external HDD support is difficult for you since you "erroneously concluded that such a thing would be unnecessary."
