Not helping the confusion in this situation are conversions from Atomiswave to NAOMI that I've seen used to get certain games to work with reicast.
When I was setting up my ODroid XU4 to essentially be the ultimate mini retro machine that I've ever owned, I heard something about conversions like what I mentioned in the post you're quoting. The game I had found in particular was Neo-Geo Battle Coliseum, which I think didn't work on the Reicast/Flycast core on the device until I found some converted ROM that I discovered to be compatible.
Mind you, this was at least a few months ago, and updating anything on this the device using the THERA (it's the spiritual successor to ORA's efforts being done by the same team after they started doing work for more than just ODroid-branded SBCs) solution for RetroPie could fuck up the Dreamcast cores on the installation (thankfully, a certain individual on the Discord stayed up all night to help yours truly out when I was first trying to set it up a year ago), so I was just glad to be getting it working without it affecting anything else.
For the patreon build, check m4xw's sig and join his discord. If you signed up to be a patreon there should have been a link to it already right in front of you.
As for naomi roms we cannot provide you with links to copyright material it's against gbatemp rules. I can say use Mame roms and Google is always your friend.

It's not a link it's in the discord itself, the link I was talking about was to the discord. Ask in the chat if you can't find it it's there.

Yes I actually tested all the games and would say there was only maybe 1 or 2 of them did not boot up. Everything else booted up, and most were full-speed. Only more demanding games with tons of sprites and effects would have slowdowns.
Not home to check but I googled retroarch flycast bios, and i found a page that took me to official retroarch page that has the info. And i think if you load the core, then go to core info it tells you what bios you have and as well as the missing bios.
Another words, you're not really a patreon? It's fine if you're not but you shouldn't say you are when you aren't. No ones going to do that for you except m4xw and good luck with that.
You can become a patron just for $1 and get it that way, don’t think you’ll have luck getting it before it’s officially released by the developer. Based on how fast he works should be sooner rather than later.
Don’t think the developer wants it in the wild, since it’s not ready by his standards. But since his standards are high, once it’s out it’s going to be an awesome release.
NOTE - The DC BIOS are the Custom jc-bootROM-1.032 BIOS, hence why it shows the (!) next to it. But wondering why the awbios has it.

Apologies @Gamerxxx it was Dabman that said he was a patreon not you. But still you shouldn't really ask for a release that's not public yet.
