Yes, I have a linked account.
I did this when I purchased my console on 6.2.0.
First tied, then install sxos.
Today I will try to do everything once again on version 1.0.7, I will write about the results.

And about this save, is it planned to update it?
Or another save, where more is unlocked?

I tried. It seems like it works. But very few costumes ... It is necessary that someone shares a new save game, where many more costumes are open.

So we need someone who owns this game on an unpatched Switch. Since it's seemingly hard, that guy would need to use cheats (god mode?) in Atmosphère to unlock all stuff and hope not to get banned, then share his save.

The MK11 dlc is out now which unlocks Shao Khan. There is also a set of codes in the SX OS pinned topic at the top of this forum that will unlock Shao Khan and Frost for use in game without the dlc installed as well as unlocks the Kollection items. Unfortunately the creator said he wasn't able to unlock the customization options, but that there is a debug menu in game that should unlock them but has no idea how to enable it. We can only hope that they can figure it out.

How can you put a dev menu in your own game and not figure out how to open it..?

obviously, change saves with Checkpoint and try it in flight mode
