Hey...I played GTA V on rockstar's platform last year (from a key I bought on the humble store). Nobody cared then. Recently they added a virtual casino, which you'd think would ruffle the crusaders against the gambling nature of lootboxes, but rockstar was apparently too cool to be attacked, so it went (relatively) quiet.
...and now they added a "buy this game here" part to that platform and gbatemp suddenly goes nuts. Okay, fine: you won't touch on buying games outside your beloved steam client. I get it. Okay, fine: you don't give a damn about cloud saves and automatic updates on games that didn't have it until now. Okay, fine: you don't want your free copy of an actually great game(1). I get it. But can we please allow others to have a different opinion here?
The irony is: the more different clients are being made, the more effort is going to be put into a launcher that encompasses all (like GoG's upcoming client). So I think this "problem" will be solved once it starts losing those air brackets around the word.
*goes off to play San Andreas just to piss off some gbatempers*
(1): yes, I've read the remark that it's not really the best version ever. San Andreas is still one of the best games ever made nonetheless
EDIT:
@simbin : erm...where exactly did you got the idea that san andreas is the android version, really? It would seem like an odd move from rockstar, but right now I'm downloading 4.59 GB in game files. The android version is only 2.6 GB (and that is fully extracted), so...I'm thinking someone's spreading lies about which version's being handed out.
