Right now, ny Wii boots up to the System Menu, we can choose the USB Loader forwarder channel, and it works beautifully!

But if I try to have Priiloader start the "installed file" USB Loader - it will start loading but simply won't recognize the same hard drive - times out after 20 seconds and I get the "Failed to initialize USB device. Switching to channel list mode" message.

Is it a weird cIOS I have installed? Should I clear any of this out and how? THANK YOU!

Is your forwarder installed dol launching the channel you have installed? Or is it pointing directly to the SD card? Try the former you may have greater luck.

Do you have gx saved to your sd card, or USB, or both?

The issue might be that your hard drive needs more time to power up, so if priiloader is launching gx so quickly that the HDD hasn't initialized yet then it would return you to the system menu. If you have an SD card with gx saved to it, that may solve the issues because that loads much faster.

Oh man, your post got me thinking, and what did it for me was just adding the "UNEO Channel Booter for Priiloader" dol to my SD card and telling Priiloader to autoboot that. I can't say I know exactly what it does but it works 100% now. Thanks!

Ha, I remember being confused for ages about that one myself. I thought UNEO was some strange protocol I'd never heard of anywhere else in the modding community. Turns out that's just the Title-ID for the forwarder. (codes starting with U don't have any official purpose so they're fair game for homebrew.)

Ummmm what exactly did you do to fix this? I don’t follow what you did.
