Hello, first of all I would like to apologize if I make any spelling mistakes.

My question is about a Nintendo Wii U. The photo in question is the motherboard, in specific the SD card reader. The console is not recognizing the SD card, some friends have indicated that could be a problem in the reader itself, so I bought a spare part and paid for a professional to do the welding service, even so the console is not reading the card.

My doubt would be about two points on the board, the CD3 and DA7 chips. Would they also be part of the SD card reading component? Would they have any way to test them?

I'm not at all familiar with the internals of the Wii U, so you might want to ignore me, but it seems like there are a number of locations on the board in that image that have solder on pads but no component (C274, R1093, R1129) - could be that they're supposed to be free, but it seems odd that the pads would have solder on if there's not supposed to be a component there.
Also, I presume you've checked the fuse (F1) for continuity?

Ok, I was able to see the "missing" components. I will check some pictures and check if they did have these.
About the fuse continuity, the F1, I check with a multimeter?

Apart from the SD card issue, the console works normally. I can play the games from the CD and access the EShop normally. The lack of these components and the current of the F1 fuse would prevent it from working or probably only affect the reading of the SD card?

EDIT: So, I checked a picture from this website: https://pt.ifixit.com/Store/Game-Co...otherboard-Paired-Optical-Drive/IF207-025?o=1
And seems that this is normal.

Okay, i have some news.

I sent the console to a repair shop and informed me that the problem could be related to a failure in NAND. They told me that this process has some risks, which could make the console brick up or not show more image.

Do you think this makes sense?

I bought the console simply by the homebrews, and unfortunately I can not use it because of this problem in the reader, which prevents the execution of the homebrew channel.
