SO i successfully installed SX OS on my switch. License valid etc.

I can't seem to create folders that show up on the switch. It's in exFAT.

So it boots up fine with the custom firmware - i can navigate the menu in Album

i must be doing something stupid.. still dont get loaders. but i dragged a few homebrew nro's and the cartridge dumper nro and it still doesn't show up.

Apologies again - P.S. I only have a macbook pro.

Mac does not do well with this but you have options.

Okay first, do you see any homebrew you copied over? it is listed in SX menu under the homebrew tab.

If not, do you see them if you copy them to the root of the SD card? (i.e. not in folders)

If so, delete the folders, use FTP or NX-Shell homebrew to make the directories.

Once the folder(s) are recreated try testing if anything placed in them pop up.

If the folders do work you should be able to use your mac to place things in the folders or my usb to sd card app if it works for you.

check if the sd is corrupted, if it is try to save all of your data off the sd card then format it and drag it back on.
i had an exfat card and some files were getting corrupted because of layeredfs crashes

Need to set the archive flag on the Switch folder. Windows does this automatically.

From Terminal:
Code:
sudo chflags -R noarch /Volumes/SDCARD/switch

This doesn’t need to be done for FAT32

I'm having the same issue and the Terminal code isn't working. Trying to add MAME to my sd card on a MacBook Pro and it isn't recognizing my roms folder.

I used NX shell to make the folders, but when I copy the roms into the folder the Switch no longer recognizes it.

Its because of MacBook. Use windows instead.
I don't have a windows computer

Maybe I can use my office computer... do I have to reformat the sd card?

SylverReZ @ SylverReZ: Also nice. Never really watched Fallout on Prime, but sounds like a good show. +1
