I don't play the game anymore, if you want to find the address, use 64Bit exact search in DOUBLE value of Health of Money

but as soon as i change the health it changes in-game but when i go back into the in-game menu it resets as there is no way to freeze the address with the sx os cheat engine

Is safe 32bit !
It may need a pointer or be dynamic.

there should be more than 3 results
look for the ones that are near each other

Either the wrong address or dynamic

when the health went back to what it was before i changed it the address was the same

sx os cheat engine can't freeze an address and someone said that the atmosphere one can would that mean that even if the address is dynamic the health will not decrease until i reboot the game

How is this supposed to work?
Either is dynamic or not.
SX OS should be able to freeze.
Use FTP and copy the Build ID file over when the game is still running.
I've never tried it before.
Then the write access is blocked

I found out the area in the SXOS Ram Editor where the "Key Items" are located and I was also able to figure out how the item ID's work so to speak but whenever I try to add an item it won't show up no matter what I do....Im a complete noob when it comes to this stuff and so I was wondering if its even possible to add in items and the like with a Ram Editor despite the fact that I am indeed able to replace an already existing key item, legion color slot for example, with a completely new one in the same category.

The full item code should look like this: 20 96 00 00 01 <---- The "01" is how many you have with the two sets of "00" being a filler of sorts...not sure exactly but it seems to be apart of the code in some way?

Also, I used the Congee Tickets from File 06 to find the area for the key items since your able to stack them up to 7 which makes it pretty easy to search for under the 16bit unsigned option using the "Cheat Searcher" in SXOS.

Code List of what I've found so far:
00 91 = Tissue

by any chance, have you found the health item ids? Based on the key items, i sure this is astral chain, and is it possible to set a loop and check code?
something like:
30000000 0000000A <- loop start
<insert check codetype> <-one or two check based on id
<if match, write max(9) value for item>
30000000 20000000 <-end loop start

i realy don't think there are many people interested in ff games. there are some many good games comming out right now.
Actually there are a lot who wanted a FF8 port for years, but SE lost the source code and this remaster finally proves it! ^^

The Main.nso is like FFX/X-2 a module loader, it loads several modules, but the actual game is:

USA / EUR: GuardianEFIGS.nro + ff8_en.exe.dat
JPN: GuardianJP.nro + ff8_jp.exe.dat

ff8_en.exe.dat is the full PC executable from the 1999 PC version (modified into a compressed archive, but fully restoreable).
The GuardianEFIGS.nro has a lot of references to that exe, like "sub_0x00ace6a0(x86_context *)" and even a function called "emu(WEEP::System *)" and "WEEP::InitEmu(char const*,WEEP::vmem_conf_t)"

This game is more like a FF8 Emulator with enhanced graphics then a native Switch game.
To make cheats we would need to find "ff8_en.exe" in memory and then modify it like on the PC, or modify it directly, but that requires a un/repacker.

Maybe this works:

[Mastercode]
580A0000 0000AA38
580A1000 00000028
580A1000 00000068
780A1000 0004E99C

this should store a pointer to GuardianEFIGS.nro into register A, but this is only the emulator, needs more work to make a fully working pointer / code patch.

It's an unreal engine game and i don't know much about these. But if yuo ask @Falo nicely than maybe he would find some cheats for it.

I can take a look into it later, Unreal Engine games take a long time to fully load in IDA pro.

I've been trying to get all the stray beads. I've spent literally 1/5th of my playtime on the race against kai (over 10 hours), stray bead 90. I don't think it's possible on switch without new cheats.
