I think it's really funny that in America (or globaly for that fact) people are more offended when someone hurts an animal then when they hurt a human being.
I am not defending hurting animals, but having dog fighting is considered cruel and inhumane, but having Ultimate Fighting Championships is considered great entertainment.

dogs don't have a choice, those guys who beat the crap out of each other do. plus they get paid.

How is this any different from consuming animals and animal products? At least the hunted animals get to experience some semblance of a life before being executed for our pleasure. That being said, my vegan wife can't wait to get her hands on this game.

I like these type of games. We men can fullfill our hunting urge, but yet not hurt any real animals.
Heh, with all these hate on hunting posts... Try living in Minnesota, we've got so many deer here that they are consistently getting killed on the freeways and killing trees as they feed in the winter time.
I don't see anything wrong with hunting and actually venison is quite good.

Don't worry Hatax, they're likely just city-dwellers who've never seen a deer. So, to them, they are not very common. Besides, I haven't known a hunter who didn't eat what they killed. You folks seem to think you just run through the woods shooting 40 or 50 animals and leave them there. And they say video games don't warp people's minds...
