My 2 units arrived today guys, both work perfect. They are well smart.
I deleted all the payloads but sxos not the folders, and it defaults to that straight away, only thing is the light goes blue, i assume as its seeing it as the first payload?
How to get the light red?, im a stickler for things being correct

Ok so it seems the unit just counts what number payload it finds, and changes the colour to suit, so i just added 3x sxos playloads and now i get my red haha

also does the jig inside the dongle mean that you dont need to insert the jig on the side where the right joycon goes?

Micro USB is super annoying... it should just use USB C on both ends. One less cable needed.
I have a moded rh joycon with 10k resistor so i just plug and boot, never need to even remove it at all
I bought one recently because it's RCM Jig looked better made than the one I had and indeed, it sure is. The RCM Loader is also way slicker and more portable than the way I was loading the exploit before which is a bonus.

I bought a rcmloader. But the whole construction is a bit shaky. And the usb type c connector is a bit wobbly...is this normal? I have doubts about the durability of this thing.
I just got one off of ebay. Mine is pretty solid, not loose or shaky. I would return yours if I were you or ask for an exchange

Its not that much. A very very little bit. The housing is solid. And the rest. Except the connector wiggles a tiny little bit when I move the finger with slight pressure the thing forward or backward. It is not visible to the naked eye. So you have to look very precisely to see that. I'm trying to make a video of it so you can see how I mean that.
my pc and mac doesn't recognize RCM Loader as USB. It is charging but no flash drive. I can change colors and tried resetting with pinhole but nothing changed.
i can boot my switch with default rcm dongle and jingle without uploading payload. when i look at system settings, it says Current System Version : 9.0.1 | AMS 0.9.4|S
but when i click albums, it only shows screenshots, no firmware related to atmosphere.

Have you tried holding L or R button while opening album? What port are you using to plug in the RCM loader to computer? I don't think you can use USB-C to communicate, you have to use the Micro-USB port. It will charge, but it won't work as a storage device unless you connect to Micro-USB.

I replaced the battery in a different type of RCM dongle with one that I took out of a mini-drone.

i opened albums with holding L and R button, i didn't know that i can see contents but RCM dongle problem still exists. In the long rung, for future updates i will have to update dongle so i should find a way to get it recognized as a USB storage somehow.
i connected to computer with micro-USB as you said, it is charging and blinking white but doesn't show up as a storage or USB.
i tried it with Windows 10 and Mac Catalina. Do you think it is related dongle or windows 10 ? Do you have any idea?
