How could I use my old mSD-card data from my homebrewed switch to a new bigger one - just copy and paste don't work - I've read that it maybe is possible to work with an image writer on Windows 10.

How do I use what exactly? Please help me - I'm new in the Switch Homebrew world so please be patient ;) thanks a lot!

because he's using a partition-type emunand, and not an SX folder-type emunand.

OP: You need to partition the new card so that the first partition will be formatted to fat32, and the remaining space needs to be large enough to fit the NAND image (Just make it an even 32GB), and that partition should be UNFORMATED. If the tool you use to do this has the option, align the partitions to 1MB.

Install win32 disk imager (in your start menu after installing, it is called "Image Writer")
Insert your working card to your PC. It will tell you that the drive needs formatting, or something to that effect. DON'T.

Open explorer, and click on the new drive letters that pop up. 1 should show your files that you copy, while the other will tell you that it needs to be formatted. THAT one is what you need to make the image of, in Image Writer. Make sure that letter is selected, pick a location and name for the image, and select READ. The image will end up being something close to 29.12GB in size.
Put your new card in. same thing applies. 1 drive letter will say it needs formatting (and usually is auto-selected by Image Writer). Make sure that one is selected, and the image you made is chosen, and click WRITE.
Then copy the files over.

ive just copied from a 128gb to 256gb card and it worked fine using sandisk ultra cards copying and pasting . make sure you've bought a legitimate sd card as there are lots of fakes displaying they're a certain gb but really lower capacity. to test your card try loading a few films onto it to check capacity.
