Hacking Question Is there a "real" risk of unmodded OFW detecting CFW files on SD card?

Hey so I have a switch with a stock OFW on 8.1.0 and I also have SXos CFW that I boot using jig and pro loader, its using emunand on the SD card, but on the sd card are other files related to homebrew, themes, and other cfw stuff. To be absolutley safe I'v ebeen removing the sd card before booting into OFW.
Is this really necessary?
As long as nothing cfw related is run on the OFW real nand, does it matter if cfw files are on the sd card, and will the switch even try to read them?

Reason I ask is I would like to preserve the sd slot, and not insert and remove the sd card often, as well as removing a extra step

thanks

Please note: I am in no way a specialist or fully understand Switch's telemetry.

I think it is possible. If you look up the "error report services" page on Switchbrew, it lists the following fields:
0xC7 SdCardUserAreaSize

0xC8 SdCardProtectedAreaSize

0xC9 SdCardNumActivationFailures
0xCA SdCardNumActivationErrorCorrections
0xCB SdCardNumReadWriteFailures
0xCC SdCardNumReadWriteErrorCorrections
0xCD SdCardErrorLog

As someone noted above, there are no reports of bans from this. But take note: SXOS' implementation of emuNAND is proprietary and it's unlikely anyone looked into how it affects Switch's telemetry. Any firmware update can change how the telemetry works. It's definitely not wise to presume you're safe. Atmosphere's implementation of emuNAND is surely better audited, it's from the same team who completely rewrote the Switch's error report mechanism (SX has nothing in this sense). But I still wouldn't call it 100% safe. Proceed at your own risk.

Nobody has been banned based on the contents of their SD card yet, Nintendo could release an update later that changes that, but they probably won't due to potential legal issues.

I still always remove the SD card while in OFW, just in case. Only takes a few seconds to do, and I really don't use OFW that often anyway.

Can we boot the emunand created with SX OS with Atmosphere and vice versa? And is it possible to have one untouched OFW and two CFW (one SX OS, second Atmosphere)?

Sx emunand from atmosphere no problem, atmosphere emummc on sx not possible (for me at least)

I would be amazed if Nintendo start banning people based on what’s on there SD card, hell I could borrow or buy a second hand card and the previous user could have left files on... it doesn’t make sense, the false flags would be insane

Based on this it sounds like I should be fine, as my sd card emunand is files not partition, there would never be an issue with the sd card file system etc.

That would hold water if emuNAND didn't have any console specific information. Though it does not seem they check for that now - it's definitely something I'd do before banning people for SD contents.
