No, unfortunately not. The developer is a student, so that limits development time. It’s been a long time since the last update, but time after time they come back and express interest in finishing development someday. So, I'm choosing to believe that it'll eventually be done.

In the meantime, the systems that aren't supported by the NSUI yet still have single-purpose injectors available.

Both of the times I made Super NES CIAs, they hung on a black screen, requiring me to reboot using Rosalina.

Info:
NSUI beta 27
SNES Virtual Console
Volume: 100

Can I make two requests?

1. If the Pikachu Gameboy color border can be added to this as it was present in the Ultimate GBC injector

2. If the Gameboy portion of this inject could feature pre-set palettes like the Ulimate GB Injector

New to this. So if I convert a .gba, gbc, or nds to a .cia, do I still need to install emulators for those consoles, or anything else?

I have TWiLight Menu++ already but would rather have my games on my home menu. Does that mean I already have the required emulators?

For Virtual Console injections, no - the result contains the rom and emulator (and other stuff) in a standalone title (can't say much about the alternative unofficial emulators you can choose)

For DS, you'll still be using nds-bootstrap (which is a software virtualizer, not a full blown emulator) - but NSUI doesn't deal with that, see the dedicated topic in the 3DS Tutorials section :)

Twilightmenu++ uses, for obvious reasons, DS and DSi mode emulators, which are not related to the 3DS mode ones you're looking at :)

I'd really like a color palette restoration for GBA games, colors are completely wrong, dark level 2 does a decent job but still, colors are not in place

I was following this tutorial with a real dump of Pokémon Emerald using the GBA Backup Tool, but saving results in an infinite:
SAVING...
DON'T TURN OFF THE POWER.
R4i SDHC RTS
EDIT: Forgot to mention TWiLightMenu++ v9.2.0, nds-bootstrap Ver: Release v0.23.0
DS Phat
Cart label appears to be a reproduction, however there is a tri-wing screw on the back.
---
New Super Ultimate Injector Beta 27 (> tutorial's Beta 26)
EDIT 4: NSUI fails to detect title screen and boxart
New 3DS XL
Thanks in advance!
EDIT 2: I happen to be in the process of downloading Beta 26 from that tutorial.
EDIT 3: I followed the tutorial exactly, with Beta 26 and all, and still could not inject a real Pokémon Emer. save.

Is it possible to have the injected Game Boy & Game Boy Color games keep the Game Boy border art in pixel perfect mode without holding Start/Select by default instead of just having the black bars with no border?

If not is it possible for the option to be added in a future release?

Cheers.

just want to ask question about sleep/hard reset option on NSUI.

1. Does applying those patches means the rom is being modified?

2. With the sleep patch enabled and pressed the button combination,
it turns off the screen and suspend/hibernate the 3ds system.
But how about closing the lid alone (no button combination)?
will the 3ds go to sleep mode?

3. If no sleep patch applied, what happens when i close the lid of 3ds?
does it only turn off the screen but dont hibirnate/suspend the 3ds system
or the screen remains on?

thanks and have a nice day...

1. Yes, the patches are changing the ROM in an attempt to add sleep and hard reset shortcuts. These patches are general purpose rather than tailored to your ROM, so it’s possible that the patches won’t be compatible.

2. When the lid is closed while running software for 3DS, DS, or any virtual console system other than GBA, the 3DS will be in sleep mode. GBA games are different, though. Rather than running using software emulation like other visual console titles, GBA games run on actual GBA hardware that your 3DS inherited from backwards-compatibility with the DS, which was itself backwards-compatible with GBA games. Some GBA games included a sleep mode that turned off the screen and put the system in low power mode.

If you close the lid without entering sleep mode in a GBA game, the screen will turn off, but the game itself will keep running. (The bottom screen of the 3DS will tell you this when you run a virtual console GBA game.) You will use slightly less power because the screen is off, but you won’t have as much battery savings as you would if the system was actually in sleep mode. (And you might lose a life or something if you don’t pause the game first!) Using a game’s own built-in sleep mode (if it has one) or the sleep mode patch (if it works) will actually pause what you’re doing until you open the lid again or use the button combination.

Would it be possible to have NSUI open the project in the same window instead of opening it in a new one?

This would basically make NSUI able to be used with Wine since that's the feature that prevents it from being usable

Outdated.
I just re-downloaded Beta 27 to follow that exact tutorial with Beta 27.

EDIT 0: Same result.

EDIT 1: Pokémon Fire Red doesn't work, so I figure it's something with the Pokémon games themselves, and not Emerald's requirement of an RTC.

Still EDIT 1: I would also like to mention that the cart labels appear to be counterfeited.

EDIT 2: The file on RomsMania.cc is 16 MiB, vs. the 32 MiB file I dumped straight from my own cart.

EDIT 3 (I'm sorry!): That [see EDIT 2] was a mistake on the GBA Backup Tool's part.

EDIT 4: Every single checksum for the 32 MiB ROM I dumped, the fixed 16 MiB one, and the 16 MiB one from RomsMania.cc is different. Long story short, this whole problem is because my carts are stupid.

EDIT 5: Also, don't blame the GBA Backup Tool, because I got a legitimate copy of Mario Kart: Super Circuit, save and all, on my 3DS.
