GTA Chinatown Wars (E) and (U) not working with wide-screen and clean dump of Layton unwound future AP patches not working.
I think Golden Sun Dark Dawn (in any region) is still ne of the very limited few games that are not working at the moment.Golden Sun Dark Dawn (EUR) clean dump is not working for me. Furthermore, games sometimes boot, sometimes don't and I have to restart my 2DS in order to make a game to run (although it is random, as I said)
Please switch from the Acekard theme to another theme.
The Acekard theme is unstable.
So i've installed twilight menu ++ on my CFW 3DS and did all the steps for enabling widescreen. So how does this work for retail cart games? Do I just boot up the DS game normally or do I have somehow have to boot it up through the Twlight menu ++? if so how do I do that? because in the twilight menu, my DS game doesn't appear in that menu.
You need to first dump the DS cart by launching Godmode. Google "dumping ds roms on 3ds". It's easy.
The cart itself can't be modified since it's hard coded.
Run the games in DS mode.I was wondering, how do I get Pokemon White and White 2 to work? I recently updated to the latest version and after not getting the games to boot the first few times, I did untrimmed dumps to see if anything would change and nothing happened.
Widescreen works for me with that game.GTA Chinatown Wars (E) and (U) not working with wide-screen and clean dump of Layton unwound future AP patches not working.
Can you access the Pokemon summary?i tested ap-patch with pokemon black 2 . It runs, but pokemon can't gain exp
Check your SD card for errors. Thanks for that! I've been using the r4 theme as appose to the dsi and the acekard theme. However, i am having trouble running Japanese games (particularly Dragon ball kai ultimate butouden). I can run it but whenever i restart the console, the menu becomes corrupted. This forces me to delete the twilight menu ini file in order to use the console again.
I appreciate the help given.
https://gbatemp.net/threads/nds-forwarder-cias-for-your-home-menu.426174/Is there anyway to make Twilight menu++ games show up as tiles on the homemenu for faster access?
The patches for MLRPG3 and Ghost Trick aren't included.I updated everything to the latest version with the twilight menu 7z but I still get the AP message with the EU version of MLRPG3 and Ghost Trick even though there is an AP patch available.
They work fine on an emulator.
When I enable the cheat in the cheat menu, it doesn't get applied properly and MLRPG3 freezes at a blackscreen after creating a game and Ghost Trick doesn't even boot.
With Gyakuten Kenji 2 the patch gets applied even if I don't enable in the cheat menu and I don't see any Borginian so I guess the AP patch works.
Edit:
I redumped Ghost Trick with godmode9 and even then it freezes at a whitescreen after creating the save, when the cheat is disable it boots but doesn't show text so the ap check is still there.
The AP-patch is applied from a .ips file. How does the AP work? Cheat or is it a bootstrap thing? Just curious anyway going to update in a while and test dqix and kh recoded USA versions right? Played recoded to death so testing some cheats should be fun

This is worked around through cheats though. You need to first dump the DS cart by launching Godmode. Google "dumping ds roms on 3ds". It's easy.

Yes.EDIT: relaized I screwed up step one, regarding to moving BOTH _nds files instead of just one. now it does widescreen, but the pixels in pokemon black 2 atleast seems to be really stretched... is that how its supposed to be?
Debug shouldn't affect how a game boots.Turns out BW/B2W2 don't boot at all if debug is turned on
It shouldn't, but after testing it for a while that was the case for me. Even after I set everything to default and just had it set to ds mode, the debug setting still caused the game to white screen or have one screen white and the other black.Debug shouldn't affect how a game boots.
Yes. Boots for me.Tried a clean kingdom hearts re coded rom didn't boot anyone able to?
