Hacking Sig Patches

I have a switch on 8.0.1 ofw/atmosphere 0.8.10 cfw and use a combination of goldtree and goldleaf to install nsp's via usb, 90 odd percent of software installs fine with no issues at all but I tried to install a more recent title and I get an error message from goldleaf about too low a firmware or missing sig patches.

The atmosphere/kosmos had sigpatches included in the build from sdsetup so I've never had to mess about with anything like this but I think it's now needing something updated, I would be extremely grateful if someone could help me out with this.

This is knowed issue for recent title like grandia. Some people said, use goldleaf 0.5 to solve this problem

I installed Grandia with tinfoil 0.2.1 via USB from the PC with NS-usbloader 0.6

(installing the nsp from the sd card didn't work, same problem as above, invalid RCA with Tinfoil 0.2.1 and Goldleaf 0.6.1)

atmosphère 0.9.3 and firmware 8.1

Cheers for the answers folks, I did a bit of tinkering.. tried copying updated es/fs patches (from a couple of sources) into their directories on the switch sd card but it didnt help.. i dont want to update hekate/ofw/cfw as its just one title thats given this problem, i converted rbi19 xci to nsp with 4nxci and installed earlier - that worked fine and seems to be as recent as fifa19 (?) Like i said, its just the one title i've had issue with so far (f19) but can only see it becoming more of a prob.

I'll try as u suggest afeufeufeu and report back..

should have mentioned i used my trusty combo of goldleaf and goldtree (both versions 0.5) to install last title..

Hi afeufeufeu,

Just getting some time to look into this issue,,and getting round to installing ns-usbloader but it req's java so i'll give that a miss - not sure if its more secure these days but its reputation goes before it unfortunately (for good reason..) though do appreciate the suggestion,,anyways..i've got the *right* version of tinfoil after a bit of searching so i'll have a try with that and gold leaf but i'll redownload the problem file, convert to nsp and try again.. its def an odd prob though as i can install titles released after the problem one..
