Homebrew Wii Backups are hell so far.

In all seriousness though, any help? I'd be most delighted if anyone can find a fix to the CFG USB loader black screen problem. If I can't the only thing I can do now is buy a usb hard drive but those are dummy expensive

if your running on a wiiu (which it seems so since you mentioned vwii) use this. It will make it into a installable format on the wiiu and cuts around usb loading.
(this is assuming that you have mochacfw/webrowser setup or ds vc exploit/haxchi/coldboot, since you need signpatches to install custom titles)
use a usb device.

This one is pretty obvious: Wii U uses a special encrypted format to run the games tied to the system, you can't use it anywhere else but that console.

If you're ripping or managing your backups this should never be a problem. It could also be your SD, i've encountered problematic ones in the past.

You can't. Either you install it, or use any of the available loaders (Wiiflow, USBLoaderGX, CFG-Loader)

Even if you can use an SD memory of flash drive, for speed reasons this is always the most recommended way.

The only problem is that the application requires a title key for the game. When I just look up title keys I get a bunch of wii u native titles. IS there any good place to find title keys or do I have to provide a title key for another game and it'll patch into there?

Google, That title key site. You'll find sites that will show you the title key. If you're doing it through WiiVC Injector. I use that (am doing my first conversion right now). Dead easy to use. However, your headache is the fact you're using a 32GB flash drive. upgrade to a 500GB or 1TB external HDD. When you say they are dummy expensive; I'm UK, and you can get these from as little as £15 500GB or £20 1TB (granted on offer). Other times £30-40. I have checked US prices before and they're not that bad.

You can't have your cake and eat it without paying somewhere.

Update: Just got a Sandisk 120 gb usb 3.0 flashdrive. external hdds work good but again they are expensive, at my local best buy they were about 90-200 dollars. Unfortunately they didn't sell any ones lower than a terabyte.
Tried the port closer to the edge (front port) still doesn't work
Now i'm trying the ports at the back. Doing the top back port and so far it ain't working.

Either the USB can’t get enough power, that’s why you. Finally have to use a Y cable on Wii and Wii U or it’s not formatted correctly

I would avoid using a flash drive -- they tend to get corrupted easily. Use an actual external hard disk and not a flash drive for best results.

Homebrew Wii Backups are hell so far.
