on sys 11.10 yes you can still use cheats. With the boot selector you will always have to reset the console when you want to switch between games.

What about that Plugin Loader through Luma that uses .3gx plugins? Is that worth checking into? Does anyone know more about this? Help greatly appreciated

It's a Luma3DS mod (afaik) that is able to load NTR plugins without restarting the system. An easy way to install it is by installing CTGP-7 which includes the loader.

Can you or someone help me with install instructions as well as how to use the loader?

Hello I am having a problem, I downloaded the latest version but when I select 3.6 I get this message:

LOAD FAILED!
#Firmware unkown
#Detected firm: 2.55.0
Press any key to reboot

I really help to fix this

Well, this is just great...

That is my only source of using cheats in games such as MK7 & SSB3DS. I modified the source code of an old .plg builder with instructions and such on how to convert Gateshark codes to NTR a long time ago. Idk if there is a tool to convert .plg to .3gx or something similar, but the plugins I use have different button activators for some codes & the ones that are publicly released with the same codes I use don't allow me to change the button activators to my own liking.

There are no ways to convert plg to 3gx as it's a completely different format. If you have the source you can try to build as 3gx tho.

Damn. That sucks... :/ It's no big deal for me anyways since I barely have time to play on my 3DS since I have a full-time job now since 6 weeks ago. Thx for trying to help me tho.

Ok so when I first installed this things worked just fine but now whenever I load up the selector this happens:

Loading 3.6 ...
Load failed !

#LOAD_AND_EXECUTE

I'm running Luma3ds v10.0.1 with boot9strap and looking at the root I still have ntr.bin, so I'm not really sure what I'm doing wrong here. If anyone here can help me out I'd greatly appreciate it

The files are in SD:/3ds/(something with ntr in the name I don't remember)/ folder, maybe you accidentally removed them

I found the folder you're referring to, it has ntr_3_6.bin and ntr_3_3.bin so I don't believe I removed anything on accident. Although I assume I should either move ntr.bin or ntr.n3ds.bin from the root to the aforementioned folder but I'm unsure if it'll work or not

Just remove that folder and let the app regenerate it

Hi there, I am on 11.10.0.43U and Luma3DS v10.0.1. I want to use the ultraSuMoFramework which is a plg cheat plugin and requires NTR but when I tried this as explained in the original post nothing worked. I have surmised that this may be because of Luma 10 or because of my 3DS version. I would like to know if there is anyway for me to run this and the UltraSumoFramework on my system or what I have to do to get it to work.

Luma 10 broke NTR plugins, you will have to downgrade to Luma 9.1 to get them to work. I recommend the PLG Loader Fork, as it prevents you from having to reboot after running a game since you don't have to run NTR, although you can use standard Luma 9.1 and the BootNTR Selector if you want.

Isn't that build for the new .3gx plugin loader? So it won't be compatible with the old .plg plugins that BootNTR Selector could use.

That doesn't load NTR plugins though, and there's no 10.x build of the PLG loader fork. UltraSuMoFramework is an NTR plugin, so it can't be used with 3gx-loading Luma.

Quick question. I've been out of the loop for a bit. Will ntr work enough to still do video streaming with the latest version of Luma. And if not, what is the current method of doing so? Trying to get everything back up and running for streams.

Everything is perfect, did it exactly as you put it except it doesn't load the menus for the cheats whenever I press select like some of them require. when I press X+Y, It takes me to that white menu, so I know it's working, but the cheat menu doesnt show up.. Yes, I put them in the right folders with the right title IDs.. what do I do??

It was working before on my new 2DS XL but now that I'm using my New 3DS XL, it's refusing to work. Please help!

If you're using Luma 10, you'll have to downgrade to 9.1 for NTR plugins to work. 10 changed stuff, so NTR can't load plugins on it.
