can i share the TwlBg folder from my 3ds to another ??
Only if it runs the same firmware version (E or U or J doesn't matter), and the "new" or "old" match, so new3DS and old3DS aren't compatible with eachother.
about patching the file properly it just does it automatically without any user input options
You're supposed to run it in a commandline with the options required, not directly run the exe.about patching the file properly it just does it automatically without any user input options
Thanks for your work, @Sono. Could we get a Linux build as well?
Yes. Redownload the patcher, and re-run it.is there any way to fix this though? so i dont encounter the hex values?
Does the TWiLight Menu++ GUI have hex values, or is stretched?i tried it again but the hex values are still there. I also installed the latest game booter cia but everything is still stretched and warped. what should I do.
You don't need "TwlBg.cxi" at "sd:/luma/sysmodules" at all.i was able to get rid of the he values. Any game that is scaled properly works properly and works great but any other game is still being stretched out instead of being reformatted to 4:3. Also the hex values were fixed by deleting that file in the sysmodules as you said. But then to get anything to work in widescreen I had to replace that file i deleted with the one from my twilightmenu++. (every thing in their correct folders respectively.)
Is the "Widescreen.cxi" the correct file, where it doesn't show the hex numbers?nothing stretched now after deleting that file. Have widescreen mode turned on. But sm64 ds which i know is supported does not switch to 16:10 on startup.
Yes. It's stated in the TWLMenu++ thread, that it should be placed in "sd:/_nds/TWiLightMenu/TwlBg", and named "Widescreen.cxi"My file for the widescreen mode is called TwlBg.cxi not Widescreen.cxi. Is it supposed to named Widescreen.cxi? Also it is not showing the hex files on the right side anymore that is where it was showing them.
