[QUOTE = "Sono, post: 8754250, member: 373734"] Somente se for executada a mesma versão de firmware (E ou U ou J não importam) e a correspondência "nova" ou "antiga", então new3DS e old3DS não são compatíveis entre si. [/ QUOTE]
Only if it runs the same firmware version (E or U or J doesn't matter), and the "new" or "old" match, so new3DS and old3DS aren't compatible with eachother.

thank you you did an amazing job

Thank you, @Sono ! It is working great!!

It took me a while to get it working because I have a Mac, but I did everything until the point of running the wide.bat file and then sent the files to a friend so he could do it for me and it worked perfectly. Once the patch for the 3DS is done, it will be even easier. When I bought a 3DS back in 2011 I never thought it'd get to the point of playing DS in Widescreen and it is AMAZING. Thank you again!

about patching the file properly it just does it automatically without any user input options

Yes, because this exe is MY test tool, and I never intended to release it. I'm running this using automated tools I wrote, so this problem doesn't affect me.

@LinusRG It's a command line app, you run it by typing the instructions on the command line, not by double clicking it.

If you're not familiar with running command-line apps, you could use a batch script instead, the TWiLight Menu++ thread includes widescreen instructions which involve creating and running a batch script which averts having to use the command line yourself.

Does the TWiLight Menu++ GUI have hex values, or is stretched?
If so, delete "TwlBg.cxi" at "sd:/luma/sysmodules".

i was able to get rid of the he values. Any game that is scaled properly works properly and works great but any other game is still being stretched out instead of being reformatted to 4:3. Also the hex values were fixed by deleting that file in the sysmodules as you said. But then to get anything to work in widescreen I had to replace that file i deleted with the one from my twilightmenu++. (every thing in their correct folders respectively.)

You don't need "TwlBg.cxi" at "sd:/luma/sysmodules" at all.
Just have "Widescreen.cxi" at "sd:/_nds/TWiLightMenu/TwlBg", and everything will work properly.

Also, if you have updated TWiLight Menu++ using the updater, please install the latest version manually, from the 7z file.

Is the "Widescreen.cxi" the correct file, where it doesn't show the hex numbers?
Also, is it placed in "sd:/_nds/TWiLightMenu/TwlBg", and not anywhere else?

My file for the widescreen mode is called TwlBg.cxi not Widescreen.cxi. Is it supposed to named Widescreen.cxi? Also it is not showing the hex files on the right side anymore that is where it was showing them.

Yes. It's stated in the TWLMenu++ thread, that it should be placed in "sd:/_nds/TWiLightMenu/TwlBg", and named "Widescreen.cxi"
