PS1/2 PS2 ESR Load NTSC Game On Pal PS2

Hi, I have a ps2 fat pal without a chip with freemcboot and esr that I use patched games for dvd and games for usb with opl but a friend is going to give me an ntsc game on my pal console, since the ps2 have no modification sure that it will not read the ntsc game, can esr read ps2 games from another region? when i load the esr in the ps2 pal do i put the ntsc game and load it? I hope you clarify this question thanks

Hello.

For the ESR Patcher it makes no difference of NTSC or PAL game.They should work.Maybe it depends only on the TV Output (older CRT TVs do not all supports NTSC AND PAL)
But NOT ALL games work with ESR Patcher and thats another thing.

For I remember correctly PlayStation 2 CD Games do not works/works correctly.
They have to "convert" to DVD.

The game ntsc is nfs most wanted, is original no copy patched with esr, my question is can i run it on a ps2 pal with the esr using the elf, loading the menu of the esr

I'm not sure. ESR is for playing patched backups.

freemcboot doesn't modify the ps2's optical drive to directly read non-patched backups or original import games.

Hello.

You have FIRST to PATCH the ISO/COPY of your Game (maybe a way is to "copy" it on your HDD of your PC) with ESRPatcher Pro to run it from your ESR Tool on your PlayStation 2 Menu/Free MC Boot Menu/LaunchELF.

I have some pal games too, what I did was put the pal game with the menu of the esr to see if I was doing something and yes, I took the game pal through the esr, so I suppose that with the ntsc will it be the same?

So you are wanting to play an NTSC ps2 game (official and not a back-up) in a PS2 running Free McBoot?

Like to remember:

The ESR Application in the FMCB Menu works ONLY with ESR PATCHED Games/ISOs/Backups.

Yes, in my ps2 i patch a ps2 backup with esr and the ps2 boot it up directly, i dont need the esr menu

Basically, I have a ps2 pal without a chip, I have an original game in region ntsc, can I use it loading the esr and then put the original disk?

Don't see why it should be an issue, if it is just rip the disc and play over network or USB.

I no longer have space on my usb, the game weighs like 4 GB and my USB is already full, I want to play it from the original disk, I think I found a way to make it work by loading the disk from opl but I don't know if it will work, I'm going to try it , if it works I say how
