Hi all,

I have SX OS running on Emunand with Stealth mode active, 90DNS and airplane mode on but there are some useful tools that require an Internet connection (such as the own SX Installer, FTP or /hbg/shop).

1) Is it safe to deactivate airplane mode and have wifi to access these (no online gaming, just the tools)?
2) If yes, should I leave both 90DNS and Stealth mode on or is 90DNS not needed by having Stealth mode?

Thanks in advance!

90DNS should block all of Nintendo's server.

And about stealth mode keep it enabled on emuNAND along with 90DNS you can never be too safe.

Simple solution, don't pirate and buy gamecards.
This is not helpful.

Yes, as long as you have 90DNS, Stealth Mode, and/or Incognito installed.

2) If yes, should I leave both 90DNS and Stealth mode on or is 90DNS not needed by having Stealth mode?
You only need one of the three things I listed above. If you're paranoid, you can use more than one (or all three). If you're worried about download speeds (e.g. with HBG Shop), then you should only use Incognito.

If i try to backup emmc boot0 and boot1 it says "Checking for available free space" and it's stuck there. I have free space
This is to make a NAND i believe. Maybe there is another way for it

Edit: Nvm it just took a little it worked

Haven't updated my Switch in a long time, since the only method of downgrading was by booting Linux, so I have a few questions.
1 - Will I keep my installed games and saves if I switch from ReiNX to Kosmos?
2 - Does the latest Kosmos support the latest OFW, meaning I can update using ChoiDoujourNX safely without burning fuses?
3 - Can I safely downgrade from the latest OFW to 5.1.0, since I have autoRCM and never burned fuses?
Just making sure I don't end up with a paperweight.

First Question
All your legit bought games should transfer since its in OFW not CFW.

Second Question
Kosmos does support 8.1.0 so you can update without burning fuses.

Third Question
If you haven't burned any fuses you should be able to.

I installed them while on ReiNX, so I assume they won't appear on Kosmos, then?

Forgot to ask if it's ok to downgrade with ChoiDoujourNX at this point. I remember it not being able to.
Also, if I want to upgrade from 5.1.0 to 8.1.0, can I go straight for it, or should I install 6.0, restart, 7.0, restart, 8.1.0?

Yes.

Atmosphere (which is what Kosmos uses) supports 8.1.0, yes.

Assuming your fuse count is 6 (or lower), yes, you can downgrade to 5.1.0 at any time. I'm not sure why you would want to, but you can.

You will keep your games and saves.

Its ok to downgrade using ChoiDoujourNX if you know what you are doing.

That probably won't be possible on 4.0.0 and higher. The best you can hope for on 5.1.0 is likely a warmboot browser exploit.
That wouldn't be bad either, since I don't care about being banned and I can just tether from my phone.

You should update straight to 8.1.0 using ChoiDujourNX.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Nintendo would probably make a supernag
On unpatched systems, the supernag can be removed using fusee gelee.

Thanks a lot. I'll finally be able to have the most recent fighters on FighterZ and Smash.
Would be cool if there was a way to install newest updates and DLC on older firmwares like we did on the 3DS though.

Yes it can but that would remove some users that have a iPatched switch.

You could get FighterZ (if its there i never used hbg) from HBG but first parties aren't there.

If you're below a certain firmware you can install the FighterZ updates and DLC, but the most recent fighters won't show up. Same thing with Smash, where you can install Joker, but it won't show up.
