Hardware Can I bridge this connector?

Hi

I accidentally broke this connector or fuse while i was changing the thermal paste.
I'm wondering if I could bridge it and call it a day because I don't have access to parts sadly.

That looks like it's missing a resistor. If you could find what resistor should be there, it should be easy enough to replace it.

Yeah, don't just bridge it. There are parts in places for a reason.

Well I won't be able to fix it where I live. So I'll just keep it safe until I travel somewhere where I can find someone or Nintendo themselves to fix it.

Comparing to another shot it looks brown to me which is more likely capacitor than resistor (which tend to be black, and have numbers on them, or plain if they are ferrites)

But yeah find the value of the thing and replace it. Sometimes you can get away with shorting it but here it is a capacitor in series on tracks leading to a high clock CPU with matching lengths and paths so noise and signal integrity is likely an issue, best not to mess with such things.
I don't think we have a parts value and location diagram for the Switch but you can go searching if you want. Chances are it will also be the same as the one next to it but that is chances rather than any kind of certainty.

looks like a CAP indeed, resistors in the switch are usually black body - I would suggest you post in the post where we identify components - https://gbatemp.net/threads/compone...he-motherboard-and-main-console.525026/page-1

I would say is a 0201 SMD cap.. not sure on the value but the Switch has many 0201s that are 100pF and 100nF
