I keep getting "Nvidia games has stopped working" and stuff like that... so I can't even enter the app... how do we fix this? It's really frustrating the fuck outta me.

I had that, after sideloading the latest version it works fine, it couldn't be installed or updated from the playstore (wasn't present).

Anyone who got Android OS working, can check what's the Widevine level (if any)?

Using DRMInfo app it's a piece of cake to do.

Im trying to run Dolphin, but im getting OGL Error: Need OpenGL version 3. Im using the latest build from the official site.

Use Vulkan for now. OpenGL isn't working on Dolphin on LineageOS. It's already been mentioned in the Dev's discord a number of times so I'm sure it will get worked out eventually.

When Dolphin is open just touch the little icon that looks like a photo and then change the video backend, it should be the very first setting you see. :)
Thanks, I would have never checked there. I saw a picture icon and for some reason i was thinking screenshots. Is there any way to remove the on screen button overlay?

Besides, by the time we get Android fully working on the Switch emulators would probably be work great and at full speed, rendering the "We can use Android for emulators" thing useless.

And unless you got another (good) reason to run Android on the Switch I just see no point...

This post has aged poorly.

I dont understand why people want Android on the Switch. Cant you just buy a cheap Bluetooth controller for your phone?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

For those who aren't aware, there are exclusive Nvidia Shield games that only run on Android with the Nvidia GPU/CPU.
These games are PC ports.

I'm totally on board for Android on the Nintendo Switch, it can take use of its powerful GPU and run those exclusive Nvidia games as well as many Android games.
Also, emulators.
Buy the Shield TV for that not a Switch.

A lot of the comments I read in the first few pages did not age well at all and it's hilarious and awesome.
Android on the switch may not be perfect yet but the potential is amazing and I'd much rather play android games/apps/emulators on my switch with full joycon support than to have to carry around my switch, smart device and a bluetooth controller (or just carry my GPD XD around) together.
The small taste of android so far is incredibly fascinating. Just being able to play San Andreas on my switch is such a damn treat.

Just what this first version of android was able to accomplish is outstanding. Moonlight streaming is what i've been using the most but i also been playing GTA SA which is awesome. Also Geforce Now works perfectly. And hell just having a proper media player is great.

Who knows how crazy this will get say a year from now. The devs said they are already working on porting over pie (9.0) and im sure someone will get this to run off the emmc which will DRASTICALLY increase the speed of the OS. That along with dualboot is all coming so lets just hop on this train and see where it goes.
