I just copied the downloaded switch folder straight to the SD card then tried to load a Project Diva game that I had saved under my retroarch folder and it gives me a fatal error then restarts the switch.

Is there anything else I need to do rather than run the NRO and game?

Juiced has an odd overlay (since the very first retroarch release as well as in here) and framerate is not great ~41 fps.
How to invoke the PSP home button and return to the PPSSPP menu?

Any way to disable all the smoothening and go with Nearest-neighbor filtering (sharp/rough non-smoothened graphics) (have already turned off Anisotropic filtering)?
Any way to use screen filters like LCD 3x or other sharpening filters?

Gave this a go with a number of games that didnt run on retroarch for me and heres what I got so far.

Tony hawk pro skater underground 2 and project 8 still crashes.
Crazi taxi fare wars still crashes.
The bigs 2 doesnt work with ppsspp but works fine on retroarch.
Juiced 2 has some on screen issues but did work.
Midnight club l.a slows down when you drive fast or the sidekick comes on.
Need for speed rivals didnt qork on retroarch but runs good on ppsspp.

Anybody have any info for the games I posted please let me know

Back after overclocking with sys-clk. Tactics Ogre still runs very poorly in the first scene and has occasional noise. The performance can be fixed by running at x1 PSP but the audio problem isn't fixed. However, running PPSSPP core in Lakka doesn't seem to have any aforementioned problems.

I noticed GLES version fixed the slowdown in the intro for Tactics Ogre even on 3x resolution. However it doesn't seem to have much effect on gameplay. The lit squares rendered when you are looking where to move your units seems to be a real killer. I've had the same trouble running the Android version on a snapdragon 845 though.

You're right. The GLES2 version fixes the slowdown but the crackling sound is still there and it's a real killer for me. What lit squares are you talking about though? I don't seem to have any problem regarding that.

Edit: I think I fixed the crackling sound by overclocking. Wish overclocking is easily accessible in the main menu rather than sys-clk.

Display showing which squares your character can walk to. Its only an issue above 1x render size.

modified monster hunter portable 3rd (with ps3 textures and whatnot) runs pretty good on area Peaks so far. tried in 2x
2x resolution and more will be better since 1x will make the game look weird and krusty (because of bigger reso textures)

thanks for this standalone, sir.
i always wished to play non-disc image (using folder like psp hardware) in which idk if it's possible on libretro core
