Either you SD card reader died, or became unatached to the board, although, I feel like if it became unseated, then it would always throw the error. The other thing that I could thing of is your call to mount the SD card got corrupted, but I have never heard of this happening.

I'm reading the 3Dbrew article that was previously posted to hopefully get a more definitive answer, but as for now, actually, does reading off of a cartridge even work?

It can't be the EmuNAND at this point because the system always crashes with an SD card inserted, even at the home menu, which shouldn't be loading off the EmuNAND after already being loaded off of the SysNAND. The only thing that I can think of is that the pins on the reader, or the card reader itself is damaged, because the 3Dvrew page didn't have your error in the BootROM errors, or the NAND mounting errors.

Basically, I think that your SD card reader is faulty, and needs to be replaced. I'm sure they aren't too expensive online, and if I remember right they just snap in with a ribbon cable, but I don't know how comfortable you are with opening your console and changing stuff out. So either it is buy only legitimate carts, or get the SD card reader replaced.

Yep, no problem. I had nothing better to do with my time anyway. Sorry we couldn't completely fix your console, but at least it still works to some capacity.

@Jykzz, if you have CTRNAND Luma3DS, try booting the 3DS without SD card. Hold the (SELECT) button when you turn on the system to access Luma3DS configuration. Insert the SD card while it's on Luma3DS configuration. Press (START) and hold (START) to access Luma3DS chainloader. Boot to GodMode9 and check if the [0:] SDCARD () and [A:] SYSNAND SD drives are there.

This would check if the SD card reader works at all.

Edit - Nvm. This won't work as CTRNAND Luma3DS doesn't load FIRM payloads from the SD card. You can check if you had GodMode9 put at [1:] SYSNAND CTRNAND/rw/luma/payloads/GodMode9.firm
