Using SXOS Emunand does not get your system banned if you're using Stealth mode or incognito. You did something wrong in sysnand that got you banned. Dont try to spread fake infome lmao (not that i care), was using SX OS Emunand completely offline still got banned be careful guys !
visited the eshop on sysnand a few times and downloaded a demo, didnt know this could get you banned since CFW wasnt involved at allUsing SXOS Emunand does not get your system banned if you're using Stealth mode or incognito. Maybe he didn't restore a clean nand backup
Did you use cfw on you sysnand before creating emunand? And if so did you restore a clean nand backup?
Never used cfw before setting up sx os's Emunand. Followed all required steps NAND Backup/Restore when i messed up included.
Only thing I didnt do was set up 90DNS since i still wanted to access the Eshop
Nintendo cant detect emunand. I'm using SXOS emunand for months and haven't been bannedInteresting maybe they can detect emunand some way, they did a banwave last Wednesday so there are a lot banned. But not the end of the world just enjoy your fully hackable switch without worries.
Its safeIs it safe to update sysNAND with choidujour from 4.1.0. to 8.1.0 without burning fuses and go online ? Am I risking a ban going online that way?
I posted yesterday about getting banned with SXOS while only being in stealth mode, never touched an NSP, I checked their forums and other people have been banned recently also.Using SXOS Emunand does not get your system banned if you're using Stealth mode or incognito. Just for clarification, by SX, do you mean SX Pro?What device(s) do you use to send payloads with? sx
Can you please fill out the form in the first post when you have a chance? Thank you in advance!me lmao (not that i care), was using SX OS Emunand completely offline still got banned be careful guys !
The most common type of ban prevents you from playing any game online, accessing the eShop, or updating your games online. If I hacked for homebrew so I can transfer saves/use cheat codes what's the worst that will happen? I'm just curious. I'd be most concerned about buying dlc and backing up my saves on cloud.
The best thing you can do is perform a factory reset but people have been banned even after performing one so there is still no guarantee you will not be banned without a clean NAND backup. And that thread you linked has a chance at bricking your console so I would advise against it.So I bought a Switch second hand about a year ago, it's on 6.2.0 (the FW version it was on when I received it), I have used the Atmosphere (Kosmos) CFW and installed a handful of NSPs and played those, that's all I have used the console for since getting it.
I have exclusively used it offline, the console has not once connected to the internet since I got it.
I did not create a clean NAND backup before using CFW or installing NSPs.
I now want to connect it online so I can play online multiplayer on legitimately purchased titles on sysNAND whilst using exclusively offline emuNAND for CFW, so my question is; what is the absolute best way to minimise my ban risk at this point?
Is there some way I can "reset" it and remove all traces of CFW use? I don't mind losing any data.
I know that eliminating any ban risk is impossible as I don't have a clean NAND backup, I'm asking for the best possible way to *limit* the risk, I may as well try because not using it online ever for fear of being banned is effectively banning myself.
As I understand it: since it is extremely likely that the previous owners connected the console to Nintendo's servers, they will have a copy of the console's error log at that point, thus deleting all traces of CFW use in its entirely still runs the risk of ban as doing so means clearing error logs, which would mean when I connected to Nintendo's servers it would flag up that my console's error logs are empty when they didn't used to be.
I've seen mention of the process detailed in this thread being the most effective way of "cleaning" your NAND to attempt to mitigate ban risk: threads/how-to-install-run-any-switch-firmware-unofficially-without-burning-any-fuses.507461/ (I'm not allowed to post direct links on a new account.)
Is there any validity to that?
Any answers from someone more clued up on this stuff would be greatly appreciated.
What are you booting SXOS for? You must be doing something in CFWI posted yesterday about getting banned with SXOS while only being in stealth mode, never touched an NSP, I checked their forums and other people have been banned recently also.

Its not recommended to follow YouTube videos as they are outdated the moment they are uploaded and not made by trusted developers. Thanks for the response.
I saw this video linked in another thread: watch?v=gVjF_MKjSv8
Is there any point in following this procedure over just doing a factory reset alone?

There are guides and tutorials either made or endorsed by developers however none of them are in video format for the reasons I have listed. Here are three different guides that are highly endorsed by their respective CFWs. Anyways, I would still advise against following that video as it can lead to a brick much like the thread you linked earlier.I have read that advice and I can see why it's a good rule to follow generally, but the video was uploaded within the last 2 days during which time I don't believe there have been any developments and quite a lot of the tutorials and guides on here that are useful are made by users rather than trusted developers.
Essentially the video just deletes the entire contents of the USER partition and all but one file from the 'save' folder in the SYSTEM partition using HacDikMount, is there theoretically any point to doing so?
In that case, I will hack at the very end of its lifespan. I'm surprised they don't let people buy DLC at least, since it's a money maker. The most common type of ban prevents you from playing any game online, accessing the eShop, or updating your games online.
