Hacking USB loader GX problems

Probably about a year ago i installed all sorts of different loaders and games onto my wii and got it to a point where i was relatively satisfied with the amount of content on it. I stopped tinkering with it altogether, and only recently loaded it back up to play a few different games. My gamecube games and games for all other emulators load just fine. However, for some reason USB loader GX no longer shows the wii games i had downloaded. Again, i had everything working right a year ago and did not change anything. Just out of nowhere i can't access my wii games. Wiiflow seems to recognize that i have them, but shows no image and freezes up when i try to load them. USB loader GX ignores them altogether, but still shows GC games. Does anyone know how i can fix this? I don't even have a computer right now, but hopefully i shouldn't need one considering the problem happened without the use of one

Hello.

Where are your games stored please ? Do you have an HDD or on an USB Stick/Drive etc. in use ? How are they formatted (FAT/FAT32/NTFS/WBFS ?)
For better understanding your Wii and your Softmod can you please post a sysCheck of your Wii ?

Here is a very good tutorial how to achieve this:

With this we can see if the Wii´s IOSes are correctly assigned.

Again, i unfortunately do not have access to a computer so i am unable to make any changes to my SD. Im not exactly sure of the details about how i had everything set up, all i know is that it worked before and i haven't changed anything. It's a flash drive and it is formatted to fat32 i believe, that's about all i can say

It is very difficult to say what is the cause:

MY thoughts: Maybe the Flashdrive(s) no longer works correctly (@Cyan,the "official" USBloaderGX "Support" recommended it every time "DO NOT USE Flashdrives/USB Sticks/Thumbdrives....THEY DO NOT WORK CORRECTLY or STOPS WORKING WITHOUT WARNING !).It has to do with writing/reading on them.

And the sysCheck is only needed for us to see your Wii Softmod is ok and you have correct assigned IOSes and it works correct with your games.

if it's FAT32, always be sure to still use a program to convert/put games on it. don't just copy manually using your computer's file explorer or you'll risk making mistakes (file name, folder name, etc.)
using WiiBackupManager correctly is always recommended to prevent these issues.

like he said, flashdrive are not recommended, but if yours worked so far, it should still work. you have issues only in write mode (you can't dump a disc to flash using a homebrew, you need to dump to SD, then use WBManager on computer to put on flashdrive).

The main error when not using the console for a long time is users just plug the drive in the wrong USB Port.
they are not both working, only USB Port 0 (bottom port on Wii) is working with loaders.

if it's an issue of game not listed, it could be a setting issue :
favorite option is enabled, hiding all non favorite games. if you add a game, and it doesn't have a "fav star" then it'll be hidden.
be sure to remove the "star icon" in the top menu to display all games.

Well i switched the flash drives and lo and behold, there my games are lol. Thank god it was such an easy solution! Thanks for your help
