So does anyone know when we can expect an update to fix some of the problems with the Switch version of Bloodstained?

My understanding is there is no ETA. You're just going to have to wait until it's released or announced.

Are you still waiting for patch 1.02? I have finished the game with patch 1.01 as patch 1.02 has a nasty bug of causing saved games of ver 1.00 & 1.01 unloadable.

Oh I have completed the game already. Just waiting for an update to improve performance because as it is I dont want to play it again....

Ya the new update looks really disappointing....fixes nothing.

This was posted on the 19th. Most of it is about Switch. There's been abit more drama with this news update too, about nerfing various Shards and Weapons. :/

Hello everyone, I’m happy to report that this week we submitted a patch for Switch, once it’s approved we’ll update the game asap. The following changes are already locked in, and we’re working to confirm even more changes/improvements etc. for this patch, hopefully by next week:

Performance Updates
The teams continue to work on input delay, stability and optimization. We’re not ready to release these improvements just yet, but we’ll be sharing more information in the coming weeks.

Map quest markers no longer showing when target has been killed

HD Rumble issues in certain areas fixed

Last but not least, we’ve seen lots of people bring up the bug on XB1 regarding the “Overlord” achievement not unlocking. The teams are aware of this and are going to be fixing it! The fix is currently scheduled to be done within the next two weeks. I know that may sound like a lot of time, it’s just a matter of prioritizing more important fixes and improvements for now. Thank you everyone for your patience while we continue to make improvements on Switch and the other platforms as well, we will be following up with more updates soon.

beat the game from start to finish all on v1.01.
the patch isn't out yet, nor the free dlc (zangestu/3rd charater).

lol, so if you continue to play your old save on v1.02 it won't load?
in ffxv when you updated patches, the old game saves worked fine on the new patches/updates.

so for example if you start a NGP on v1.02 with our old save will it even load?

lol, I wonder why the team is lagging on the patches and DLC they promised?

v1.01 on switch = 1.02 on other consoles. You're already past the bad update.

It took them years of delays to get this game done, more shouldn't be surprising.
